Introduction
Hey! Name’s Malakai, I’m 22, and I use any pronouns (except it/its). I live on my family ranch in Unova and work there most of the time. I ended up going to school for pokemon research and loved the fieldwork, not so much the lab work, so I took up a ranger job for when I’m not needed at the ranch.
I’ll usually post about ranch life and whatever our pokemon are up to, but occasionally I’ll talk about whatever research I’ve been asked to help with. Don’t be afraid to ask about our ranch pokemon or whatever the local professor has me doing!
My Team
Tiretread - My Scolipede. He was my first pokemon ever; I’ve had him since he was a Venipede. Looks menacing but he’s the absolute sweetest
Velvet - My Espurr. She was originally my sister’s but when she came back from her visit to Kalos the city just wasn’t a good environment for Velvet. She ended up living with me since ranch life is a lot quieter and slower paced. She’s mine now my sister is never getting her back <3
Cleo - My Cleffa. Honestly I have no idea where she came from. I found her in the forest near our ranch and I’m like 90% sure she was dumped. Ended up taking her in since pokemon not native to the region can easily become invasive.
Bytesize - My Joltik. Got him soon after I got Tiretread while attempting to become a trainer. I lost interest in battling but kept Bytesize because I loved him too much.
Gumbo - My Munna. He’s kind of a medical assistant pokemon, since my ma got him for me to help with my insomnia. It would probably work more if he didn’t hog the bed all the time.
Mole - My poochyena. Adopted her recently and she’s taken a liking to Tiretread. Not surprising since they’re both fairly calm and reserved.
