Hello people! I am in desperate need of help and will try absolutely anything, so here it goes.
I am Angela, been a Swiftie since 2010, and we are going through a rough patch as a family right now. I have an aunt named Anna who was diagnosed with ALS, a rare and terminal neurodegenerative disease which forces the patient in a vegetative state for the rest of their life. I donāt know if you recall, but back in 2014 even Taylor did the ALS Bucket challenge to raise money for research.
My aunt has been sick for nearly 17 years now and they have been through a lot, but this past year has been the hardest so far. Aunt Anna lives in an apartment on the 8th floor of a building with a minuscule elevator, which doesnāt even fit a normal wheelchair - let alone the humongous chair needed to carry someone who doesnāt have any control on her muscles. Also, first responders have an absolutely hard time transporting her to the hospital whenever thereās an emergency, which is the single most dangerous thing she can experience. Back at the beginning of the year, her family applied for a mortgage to buy an house located on a lower floor but it kept being denied. Now, we also learned that her disability check has been denied for this year on a technicality and they became completely hopeless.
So, I am begging each and every one of you to share and spread this fundraiser to help us raise a sum that can help them move/find another solution as soon as we can! All help will be deeply appreciated, even the smallest amount.
