Stop blaming laws on people's choices. Making murder legal doesn't mean people are forced to murder. Making abortions illegal doesn't mean people are forced to get pregnant. Stop pretending avoiding pregnancies is a difficult thing to do. Abstinence is fool proof, non-PIV sex is fool-proof, birth control implants are virtually fool-proof. Stop belittling women and the choices and responsibilities they have.

Making abortions illegal forces any woman who gets pregnant but doesn’t want to keep the baby to seek unprofessional unsafe alternatives.

Saying “women should be able to choose whether or not they go through with a pregnancy” does not mean “women shouldn’t have to have responsible sex and take measures to prevent themselves from getting an unwanted pregnancy.”

Anyway, statistically speaking, making abortions legal reduces the number of abortions that are performed so long as this is combined with free and accessable birth control.

If y’all cared so much about the fetuses, y’all would work on making birth control free of charge and abortion legal. Not oppose abortion and do nothing to make birth control easier for women to get.
