I should probably introduce myself.

Hi🪷 I'm Poly MC, otherwise known as Fairwish and Chanzé, and I'm in polyamorous relationships with all 7 of the demon brothers in Obey Me!. This is my new Role Play account where I will be able to live out that dream🌼 Yay🎉

I look forward to role-playing as your Umi🌺 "Umi" is short for "umzali", which means "parent" in Zulu, which is one of my 2 cultures. My bio dad is Zulu and my other culture is Afrikaans.

IMPORTANT: This is not to be confused with the meaning of "umi" from any other languages (aside from the Japanese "umi", which means "sea". "Sea" is one of my pronouns. More on that in the next paragraph). I decided to use "umi" as a term for my children to refer to me, because it's derived from a gender neutral term for a parental figure (umzali = parent), in my culture. I also decided on this term, because it would be so much easier for a child to learn how to say when learning how to speak. So, it also makes sense for my children's developmental needs.

Speaking of which, I'm non-binary 💜🤍💛🖤 and my pronouns are sea/star. So in a sentence, it would look like: Sea is very happy to be here. Sea hopes you enjoy star poetry. Basically, you replace "she" with "sea" and "her" with "star". So, me deciding to use "umi", along with my pronouns, works on multiple levels. Especially considering that I've always had a deep connection with the ocean, that I could never quite explain. But I think it's because my Zulu heritage originates from KwaZulu-Natal, a coastal province in South Africa.

Also whenever people refer to me, using these pronouns, it makes me feel like a fairy, sitting on a leaf and watching the ocean under a night sky😌 Like, I feel like a better version of myself. Like the me that I've always wanted to be🌌 That's right, bitch we're getting existential now! And I'm completely sober. It makes me feel like someone I can actually look up to, which I think is just absolutely insane🤯 I mean, I NEVER thought that I could feel that way. I've never seen myself as someone worthy of being looked up to, praised or admired by anyone, much less myself. But here I am! Making my inner child proud, just by using those pronouns, so ja☺️

Also, as I've mentioned, I'm Afrikaans and I LOVE Afrikaans music, so look forward to me posting English translations/interpretations for Afrikaans songs.

I also dabble in poetry, so look forward to that too. Though, some of my best poems I've written are in my old phone, which I spilled hot chocolate on. And now the motherboard is fucked😭

Dating Beel - General Headcanons

Beel has an exquisite palate, but since he eats everything so fast, he hardly gets the chance to show it. In reality, one single spoonful is enough for him to know not only the ingredients, but also the spices used in a dish. He forces himself to slow down whenever he tries something he really craves, to truly savour it, but afterwards, his only concern is to devour, not enjoy.

The last time he consumed a human was during The Roaring 20s, when liquor ran the back alleys and no one would bat an eye if certain people disappeared. Sadly, Mammon’s rendezvous with the flapper witches and the poor souls at the casinos resulted in the portals shutting down, so Beel never got to eat human flesh again (as all the other demons).

This ties into his desire to taste you and to be with you for all eternity. “You are what you eat”, yes, but also, what would make you stand out from the other humans he’s eaten? What do you taste like? Would his tongue remember you for the rest of his days? He probably would, but he knows better than to try and risk it.

He treasures your relationship not only because of how important it is for him, but because if he takes your love and friendship into consideration, resisting the temptation to eat you gets easier (it actually satiates his hunger, although temporarily).

The hard part comes at night, when you two share a bed. He is known to munch on his pillow in his sleep and you’ve woken up with his mouth latched onto the softest parts of your body many times already. Letting him sleep on top of you is dangerous (your heartbeat is too tempting and your belly gives access to most of your vital organs), so the solution you both have come up with is him sleeping face down with you laying on his back. That way, you’re still close, and, worst case scenario, he wakes up with a soggy pillow.

He tells you that he doesn’t mind where you sleep as long as you’re together, but he’s lying. He prefers your room. Not only does everything smell like you, but it’s also right next to the kitchen. He can go for a snack and come back before you even notice his absence.

Of course, if you do wake up, you’re more than welcome to join him in the kitchen. You are the only one he’ll willingly, and happily, share meals with.

You can actually get away with a lot in your relationship with him. He’ll let you do whatever as long as it doesn’t harm either of you. Once, he went to the gym still wearing the tiny pigtails you did on his hair while joking around. Did people look at him? Obviously. Did he care? Not at all. At least, his hair didn’t bother him during his workout.

And he doesn’t even go to the gym that much anymore. He has weights and dumbbells he uses before bed, the forest outside the House of Lamentation is perfect for running laps before breakfast, and RAD has some appropriate equipment for the Fangol team. Other exercises, like push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups, can be done at home, with you latched onto his back for added weight.

He loves whenever he can show you how strong he is, too, so that’s a bonus. Knowing that you appreciate the capacity of his muscles, while seeing himself as a protector, helps him sleep better at night.

Suffice to say, he hasn’t hit or punched anyone on your behalf yet. Other demons, let alone humans, tend to think twice about bothering you when they see him coming; and those who insist fall to their knees when he changes into his demon form.

He becomes slightly taller and broader, and his wings make a noise loud enough to produce nausea. His brothers and you may be immune to the effects of his presence, but others aren’t, especially in a hostile interaction.

He has the slight suspicion you would actually like to see him become violent, but every time he has asked you about it, you’d laughed it off before changing the subject.

You are kind of weird sometimes, but he loves that about you.

And he will sigh, eyes tracing over your features, realizing he too is safe in your arms.
