I had my second ADHD assessment this morning, first time seeing a psychiatrist. He said with my combination of ASD and ADHD features and general history that fast acting Ritalin is probably the only medication option for me and if it doesn’t work that I will have to look into other options like occupational therapy. I was hoping I would have more options than that. I feel like a complete fuck up and like there is not a lot of hope for me since it might just make me even more bogged down in detail and more anxious. I want so badly to just get better and now I have that crushing feeling that maybe this is just me forever.
