Unemployed, needing help

Hi everyone

I have recently exhausted my states unemployment insurance and still have not been able to find a job in that time. I am a single black woman living with a roomate and I'm starting to owe her a significant amount of money. I do not have any family outside of a couple of estranged brothers :/

I was pet sitting up until december when an accident totaled my vehicle. I live in a rural area where there is no public transporation.

I look & apply for jobs daily and there are a lot of postings, however the remote market is competetive. I specialize in IT Support or Help Desk (so if anyone can get me a connection, pls). I feel like as a black woman I get less chances than other demographics here. I do get interviews but all have rejected me so far :/

I really hate to ask for donations, but I'm a bit lost on what I can do. I can let my own bills go, but I don't want to make my roommate suffer much longer. I need 1000 dollars to cover March rent and my previous portion of the utilies. If there is any to spare, I could use it for food, but I am okay right now because I scammed HelloFresh a little bit for a couple of free boxes (I have a couple of codes I can share if anyone else needs to do this)

In the mean time, I'm also going to try selling my (small) kpop album collection and a work computer from my previous employer.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated what they could. I used the money to pay part of my rent to my roommate.

I have just been approved for unemployment in the state that I previously lived in. With that money I should be able to stay afloat for the next few months again, and will continue looking for a job. I would appreciate if instead of reblogging this post or donating to me you donate to the people in Gaza right now in anyway you can.
