"Laertiades," came a low voice from outside the tent. Agamemnon followed behind it a moment later, peering around before settling on him. "You... missed the meeting entirely. What did Machaon say?" He cleared his throat awkwardly, shuffling further into the tent with a red tinge upon his cheeks. Him? Avoiding eye contact? Neverrr..... @amphimelas-atreides

"Mm-?" Odysseus' head raised slightly from where he had curled up in his bedroll, messy thick hair falling over his face as he shifted a bit under the fur covers- them slipping down a bit and exposing the bandages wrapped around his side. "Bedrest for a week. Or two." He grumbled slightly, curling away from Agamemnon a little and trying to hide his face.

"Why're you svoiding eye contact..?" He barely managed to murmur out, eyebrows scrunching slightly as he shifted a little. Not like he could see his eyebrows scrunching together, but whatever.

"I'm not avoiding shit," he snapped, shoulders rising as he felt the need to come to his own defense. He had to remind himself that this was just Odysseus. Annoying, but not malicious.

Agamemnon exhaled shakily and sat himself down beside the bedroll, head still turned away from him. He glanced at the bandages out of the corner of his eye.

"Earlier," he began, hesitant. "When you left. You... kissed me."

"You were avoiding eye contact," Odysseus grumbled, shifting a bit as if he could cover the fur blankets over his chest and shifting a bit again, the hangover headache gnawing at his thoughts as if it would make it better (it didn't.)

He's looking at my waist. Why is he looking at my waist? He stifled a low growl building in his throat and avoided eye contact.

He pursed his lips and finally looks up at his face, his thoughts racing through his head. He had been distracted all throughout the council meeting.

"Why did you kiss me?," he asked, voice cracking awkwardly in the middle. He winced.

Agamemnon wasn't sure how he was supposed to handle this. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel.

He shifted a little at the question, tensing up slightly. Damn. He didn't know how to answer that. He really didn't.

"I don't know. I was dr- drunk." Odysseus shifted a little, moving over a little so he wasn't so close. Why is he touching me.

"It doesn't mean anything." said lying Odysseus, trying to hide his face more.

"It had to have meant something," he insisted, hunching in on himself. "You don't just... kiss people for no reason."

He could recall the feeling of their lips together. Of being yanked down to his level. His face felt hot.

"You think I know the reasonings of a drunk man?" he hissed, shifting a little to be able to be sitting up a bit more, dark brown eyes barely visible from moving his hand from off of his eyes. "I don't."

He glanced away. "... even if I did, I wouldn't know how to explain it."

"Typically I do, yes," he grumbles, gritted his teeth and turning his head away once more. "And you look like you could use more to drink. Where do you keep it?"

Agamemnon leans back away from him, trying not to linger too long on what was clearly a topic he didn't want to speak of.

"Mmnh," Odysseus shifts slightly where he's laying. "It's.. next to my armor next to that crate." He moves his head a bit in order to point at it with his chin. He sniffles a bit. "That one."

"..." He shifted a little where he was laying, looking over at Agamemnon blearily before looking away hesitantly.

Agamemnon rose from his spot on the floor to fetch the bottle, groaning in discomfort as his joints creaked in protest. He took a drink from it before passing it to him.

"...You need to get your wounds seen to before council. I expected better of you," he chastised, "I could see Tydides neglecting his health like that, but you're smarter than this."

"I did." He murmured, shifting a little once more as he took the wine bottle, chugging it for a moment before his face scrunched up a little.

"Why do you think my chest is bandaged?" Odysseus grumbled, looking at Agamemnon once more with almost pleading, tired eyes.

Agamemnon stiffened at the look on his face, shoulders raising. He looked confused by the question, glancing from his chest, to his side, to his face.

"Is this rhetorical?," he asked, "Your wound was on your side. Unless- Is your chest injured as well?"

He leaned closer, reaching out.

"It wasn't deep, was it? And the physicians took care of it? No lasting damage? You'll live?"

"Half-rhetorical." He glanced at Agamemnon, shifting a little as he met eye contact for a moment before tensing and looking away. His eyes.

"... It is. In a way. But that's besides the point." He shifted a little again. His eyes lingered on Agamemnon's hand.

"Physicians took care of it. No lasting damage.. I'll live."

"Hell~o," Odysseus leaned against the flap of the council tent - obviously, council hadn't started yet - but he preferred to appear earlier when everyone else was gone so he could annoy Agamemnon. It was a bit. He personally thought it was funny. He shifted a little and pressed his wrist against the nasty wound on his side as took a sip out of the wine bottle he had gotten on his way back from battle and stopped by his tent. "Lord Agamemnon."

"Laertiades," he greeted without looking up from his own kylix, only subtly angling it so he could see the reflection of the other in the surface of the wine. "You're early. Again."

His eyes narrowed as he noted the odd posture he took, gaze flitting up to look at him before narrowing in on his side. He took in a sharp breath, concern leaping to his throat. He swallowed it down.

"The hell is that," he said, low and even, "and why, exactly, is it not bandaged?"

"Yes, that would be correct. I am once again early." Odysseus paused in his talking and took another swig of the wine bottle he was nurse.

His dark brown eyes flickered over to his reflection in the kylix, and his lips curled into a small smirk around the top of the wine bottle he had before pulling it away from his mouth again.

He wobbled slightly where he stood, his breath even - sure, it was, as always - but had a shaky tone in it as he exhaled.

"T'is but a flesh wound, Atreidae. Atreidea? Atriedua? Whatever." He sniffled slightly, wiping his wine-smudged mouth with his forearm for a moment. "It's not that bad."

"It's Atrides," he corrected flippantly.

Agamemnon took a final sip of his wine before setting the cup down, rounding the table to stand face to face with him. He jabbed a pointer into his chest, leaning in close.

"Turn back around and get yourself to the medic's tent, lest I carry you there myself over my shoulder like a maiden."

His eyes dared him to insist otherwise; he would do it. He had wanted to make a fool of the man before the army for quite some time. Him neglecting his own health was excuse enough.

"Ah potato, tomato, same thing, Aga." Odysseus shrugged, sniffling again as he took another sip of the wine bottle he had before pulling it away from his mouth to talk yet more. Because Odysseus can't shut up, clearly.

He glanced up at Agamemnon when he stood up, and puffed his chest out as the man thrusted his finger into his chest. His very nice, masculine chest, if Odysseus said so himself. But that was besides the point.

"I know I'm unmarried, but must you try and show me off like I am an unmarried maiden?"

He fought back a very clearly cocky smirk and glanced away, covering his mouth with the back of his hand with a soft giggle. "I'll do it in a moment. You worried about me or something?"

"First of all, don't call me Aga. That is Lord Agamemnon to you," he hissed, a vein in his temple beating visibly alongside his heartbeat with how annoyed he was already.

His eyes flitted down momentarily when he puffed his chest out, but went right back up a second later.

"... Secondly!," he said after a long pause, "We cannot have you indisposed for any amount of time. You are critical to our plans."

He leaned back after a moment, crossing his arms over his chest and glaring down at him.

"I will not ask you again. Go. Now. That's an order from your commander."

"Mmmhm, sure." Odysseus hummed, eyes flickering to Agamemnon's mouth for a moment before rolling his eyes with a faint huff- befofe tugging the man down slightly by the beard and kissing him until he himself was breathless, popping his shoulder before pulling away.

"Anyway," He rolled his eyes slightly, stopping from leaning against the tent fold slightly with a slight eyebrow scrunch of moving with his wrist against the wound. "I'll you later. See you- later. Whatever."

He huffed a little, before turning away and walking away to the medic's tent.

"Laertiades," he greeted without looking up from his own kylix, only subtly angling it so he could see the reflection of the other in the surface of the wine. "You're early. Again."

His eyes narrowed as he noted the odd posture he took, gaze flitting up to look at him before narrowing in on his side. He took in a sharp breath, concern leaping to his throat. He swallowed it down.

"The hell is that," he said, low and even, "and why, exactly, is it not bandaged?"

"Yes, that would be correct. I am once again early." Odysseus paused in his talking and took another swig of the wine bottle he was nurse.

His dark brown eyes flickered over to his reflection in the kylix, and his lips curled into a small smirk around the top of the wine bottle he had before pulling it away from his mouth again.

He wobbled slightly where he stood, his breath even - sure, it was, as always - but had a shaky tone in it as he exhaled.

"T'is but a flesh wound, Atreidae. Atreidea? Atriedua? Whatever." He sniffled slightly, wiping his wine-smudged mouth with his forearm for a moment. "It's not that bad."

"It's Atrides," he corrected flippantly.

Agamemnon took a final sip of his wine before setting the cup down, rounding the table to stand face to face with him. He jabbed a pointer into his chest, leaning in close.

"Turn back around and get yourself to the medic's tent, lest I carry you there myself over my shoulder like a maiden."

His eyes dared him to insist otherwise; he would do it. He had wanted to make a fool of the man before the army for quite some time. Him neglecting his own health was excuse enough.

"Ah potato, tomato, same thing, Aga." Odysseus shrugged, sniffling again as he took another sip of the wine bottle he had before pulling it away from his mouth to talk yet more. Because Odysseus can't shut up, clearly.

He glanced up at Agamemnon when he stood up, and puffed his chest out as the man thrusted his finger into his chest. His very nice, masculine chest, if Odysseus said so himself. But that was besides the point.

"I know I'm unmarried, but must you try and show me off like I am an unmarried maiden?"

He fought back a very clearly cocky smirk and glanced away, covering his mouth with the back of his hand with a soft giggle. "I'll do it in a moment. You worried about me or something?"

"Hell~o," Odysseus leaned against the flap of the council tent - obviously, council hadn't started yet - but he preferred to appear earlier when everyone else was gone so he could annoy Agamemnon. It was a bit. He personally thought it was funny. He shifted a little and pressed his wrist against the nasty wound on his side as took a sip out of the wine bottle he had gotten on his way back from battle and stopped by his tent. "Lord Agamemnon."
