hi not a dumb question!! honestly i dont think there is ONE definition to rule them all but MY understanding of it is that proship is when people ship things regardless of how problematic it is (like incest, pedophilia, etc) with the logic that it’s “fiction” and that doesn’t affect reality but i’m also not the best person to ask lol. tysm btw!!
