Why did you stop posting Harry Potter things I’m sad..
the quick answer to this, is because we are no longer comfortable platforming JK Rowling or her works, due to her vicious transphobia.
if you care at all about the safety and rights of transgender individuals (such as myself, and the other co-founder to this blog), then I suggest you do the same, too.
every penny earned in the name of Harry Potter, through merchandise, ticket sales, videogame purchases, microtransactions & ad revenues from apps, even publicly participating in fandom and thus encouraging your friends and followers to spend money on her (& increase the cultural significance of her works) -- she is using this money to lobby against the rights of transgender people, and unfortunately, it is working.
i encourage any and all people following to abandon JK Rowling, her works, and the entire Harry Potter world. you have no idea how unsafe it feels to be transgender right now, and seeing thousands of people share the works of the world's richest transphobe whilst claiming to fight for equality does not help one bit.
