every month or two i scroll through the clangen tag and get inspired to draw some cats. here's some i did the last couple of days, it's so fun drawing all these designs everyone say hi to FreezeClan and be nice (in order: Blackwhisker, Blazespeck, Brownshriek, Clawstar, Greenpaw, Icepaw(tuft), Larkspurpaw(dance), Morbius (unfortunately), Palefoot, Raggedspeckle, Scalepelt, Scrubpaw(smoke), and Sootclaw ) i've been tempted to make a blog about one just to have something to try and pour some of my creative juices into and try and tell a story -- maybe I'll do that someday a few bonus drawings:

Blackwhisker, Clawstar, and Emeraldkit who I'm deeming the ultimate nepo baby -- his dad gave him the flower AND he mentored him smh.... (Clawstar is dad)

Blazespeck and Sootclaw gay lovers their kits are Greenpaw, Scrubsmoke, Icetuft and Larkspurdance. tragically Greenpaw died on his first moon as an apprentice I haven't drawn up to the current moon yet but there's two new faces and also Blackwhisker had four more kits yay

What is archie sonic?

haha wow i never check tumblr so i didn't see this till now Archie Sonic is in reference to the older Sonic the Hedgehog comics, the ones that came out back in the '90s and ended in 2017 (published by Archie, hence why it's called that) -- while I enjoy the newer comics published by IDW, the older Archie comics have such a bizarre and fascinating history to them that has piqued my interest for a while now in short it's just another avenue for me to hyperfixate on sonic LOL

just wanna say after drawing some of the silver art I posted yesterday, that I went back to skim some of late archie sonic (mostly for a new discord icon LOL) and gosh. I got sucked right back into it and I didn't even mean to... I just really like the later archie sonic comics.

The Ian Flynn era in general is a huge step up from what came before... though admittedly it wasn't hard to top. That. But the post genesis continuity is super fun too -- the Champions arc in particular is one of my favorites in general, the art is so expressive and fun, and the plot is goofy too. Sonic characters fighting each other will always be fun to watch idc who you are
