Dain had no idea where he was, all he knew was that this place was extremely different from Basgiath or any other place he had been to. Leaning against a wall, he had his arms crossed as he tried to possibly see someone he might know. "This would be a lot easier if I had Cath with me." He spoke to himself. @ggstarterblog

pope had been staring at his phone when dain spoke to him and he raised a brow. "i'm sorry, what?" he asked and looks at the other male and then down at his phone again. he was obviously waiting for something to pop up on his screen, and he hated it. he was pissed off that he was letting gossip girl get to him, but he'd rather not destroy any friendships he had, so he decided to let gossip girl tell everyone his secret. he looked back at dain again and asked, "whose cath?"

"That's honestly pathetic if you ask me." She said and shook her head. "I can't stsand people that like to make a big thing out of such tragic events."

"sadly, that's what the world is coming to now." pope looks at sloane. "a lot of people see something horrific or hear about something horrific and try to monotize it."

"I have not been here for that long, but I feel like some people are easier to read more than others. I've also learned that people are way too obsessed with true crime and it's kind of creepy." @ggstarterblog

"i honestly don't know why people are so obsessed with true crime, it has been a thing for as long as i can remember. i think as we evolve, it just becomes more and more common, and i know that is a morbid thing to say, but it is just one theory i have."

"that's exactly how i see her too." john tucker said with a chuckle. "i don't know how anyone can take her serious."

"i think the only reason people take her seriously is becuase she seems to know everything about everyone, and it is very scary to think about. who else do you know that can have that much power?"

"to be fair, i don't understand her at all either. she's just someone who writes and posts gossip and that's about it."

"Ignoring her does not good because she's like an annoying little bug, and going into spiral mode does nobody any good, so the next best thing, hell, the best thing, is to let her fuel my ego."

"i mean, i ignore her all the time and it's working out well for me and all my friends. maybe you should actually ignore her. it seems like letting her fuel your ego does no good to anyone, except to you and maybe her."

"i don't think those movies would be up cleo's alley either, briar. she doesn't seem to like watching tv, or really sitting still all that much."

"that is very true." pope agreed and looked at his friend. "and now look at us, we're living in man-fucking-hattan and we could possibly be considered kooks."

pope: that's just...that feels like you need to not go there to be honest. pope: you could end up dead.
