Despite everything, I decided to continue working on Part 2. Can't believe it's gonna be a full year since Part One by the time I release it.

I still love Madou/Puyo, and I had so much fun engaging with it as I had in the past. This time, I'm not letting anything get in my way of enjoying what I love.

I brought Part One back onto youtube as well.

~~Puyo/Madou Chronology Part 2 Update~~

I am sorry to say that I am canceling this video. After some comments on the previous video that I have since deleted, DMs I have received on my socials, and other concerns, I do not feel welcome in the PuyoPuyo community. It is rather discouraging how a simple "Happy Pride Month" comment in the video has led to so much discourse, especially with said video being months old now. I am hardly the first to come to this same conclusion, based on conversations I have had with others who had left the scene.

Privately, I have felt welcome by individuals in the community I respect, and I greatly appreciate the encouraging words I have recieved from those on the brighter side. I will continue to enjoy PuyoPuyo and Madou Monogatari, and may still post shorter content with them, but long-form or discussion based videos will no longer be created.

I created the first video largely as an attempt to allow myself to deep dive into something I genuinely enjoyed, as I struggle with justifying enjoyment without productivity. I found myself somewhat frustrated at the lack of details surrounding certain games, and thought maybe others were also sharing that frustration. Part One was my attempt to make some information just a bit more accessible. It was never my goal or intent to become a YouTuber or to gain any sort of following.

I want to thank everyone who has encouraged me along the way with polite comments and helpful information. I understand my negative experiences do not reflect the PuyoPuyo community as a whole, and most of these comments have been from a small group of outliers. Regardless, I am taking a step back and letting myself enjoy the content again without outside pressure.

Thank you for your time, and I am sorry to those who were looking forward to part two.

What if I do somwthing messed up and combine two of my hyperfixations (Puyo and Animorphs) to create a fanfic where the Puyo cast go through the absolute worst time of their lives?

In desperate need to get back into PuyoPuyo. The thing is, I am realizing I miss the era where I was playing Madou Monogatari games regularly. I love Puyo, too, but the drive to play through Puyo after Puyo is lesser than Madou after Madou
