Klug describes his hairstyle as a "bowl cut" here, which is a bit odd considering that it is. objectively not a bowl cut??

Not only do his bangs have an extreme part and way more lift than a bowl cut normally does, just look at it from the side. These are layers that no bowl cut has ever had.

This has led me to four possible conclusions on why Klug called it that:

He doesn't know what a bowl cut is.

In his drunken stupor, he did not know what to call his hair, he just thought it was Stupid and "bowl cut" was the first thing he could think of.

He used to have a bowl cut and got made fun of for it and so he's reverting back to old insecurities.

He did not used to have a bowl cut but still got made fun of for his hair by other people who didn't know what it was (and/or just wanted to sound insulting).

I'm not sure which one I prefer, but now I'm curious what everyone thinks on the matter, so...

Why did Klug call his hairstyle a bowl cut?

You ever think about how the main universe's Klug is constantly wrapped up in studies of practical magic, to the point where his only known hobby is reading/studying, when his Quest AUs suggest that he's actually more inclined towards the arts like painting and theater. Things that he has never expressed an interest in because he's too busy trying to hone and flaunt his more traditional smarts. I do and I'm super normal about it I promise

the cherry on top here is that Christmas Klug from last year is ALSO a theater kid but he’s not in an AU-ish setting like steam city or allstar academy

He just hangs out at the library so much they were like “hey come help with our Christmas play” and he was like “fine” and then got SUPER INTO the evil Santa role he was cast as

A Strange Klug variant.

It doesn't get alternate text or dialogue from what I can tell, but I'm choosing to believe that the reason this happens is because the Crimson Spirit saw Klug get cast as "Evil Santa" and was like "oh HECK yeah lemme IN on that"

Imagine being a budding theater kid getting really into a role and then it turns out that the demon in your book is ALSO a theater kid and hasn't had a role in centuries, so it just hijacks yours because it got too excited. I wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry

(These two really are more similar to each other than the spirit is to Sig, though... which is an analysis for another time probably but it amuses me greatly)
