Does anyone have the animation of Dio doing cartwheels down the stairs to move Polnareff in the 5 seconds of frozen time he had to fuck with Polnareff, just to be extra? I need it for reasons.
I’m pretty sure y’all have heard about it one way or another. Basically, tumblr is placing permaban on NSFW content mainly because of its removal from the App Store. While made to curb the porn blogs and child pornography the website was known for, this also hurts many porn artists who use the site as a main source of revenue.
I know that my page could theoretically be safe from this (I’m a Jojo fan page, everything about me screams virgin) but there are so many ways this could go wrong. Their new system is mostly automated which means that random posts can get flagged for no reason. Unless it actually works in weeding out actual porn and gore, this still puts people at a disadvantage. There’s a ton of talent porn artists who rely almost solely on tumblr. After all, tumblr is one of the only major social media sites that allows porn, so they’ll have to make a large move over. I highly doubt many of their followers would even know about this happening, much less jumping ship because the artists’ blogs could be gone by then.
This is the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. @staff has been incredibly shit at running this website, not to mention the amount of (I really hate using this word) cringy stuff this website is capable of. Tumblr has to be one of the worst fandoms to be a part of, no doubt. But who knows. Maybe this all works out somehow and tumblr’s the good Christian servers it’s trying to make itself become.
As for me, I’ll probably just move to reddit. I don’t know if I’ll run some sort of spiritual successor to this page on another site. Believe me, I’d tell you.
I doubt it though; I haven’t been too interested in Jojo recently. Hell, I haven’t even gotten around to watching Vento Aureo. Yes, Jojo will always hold a place in my heart as one of my favourite shows, yet it might be just that: a place in my heart. There’s also a bunch of sheducling issues, plus another account I run as well as some songwriting I wish to turn into something real that adds to the stress of running this blog. So consider this a goodbye.
