honestly i understand why people live in gotham despite everything because if you ignore the villain attacks and toxin levels and murder rate and nation-typical police corruption it's actually a pretty plush deal. ocean views, blooming public parks, tons of community support initiatives, great nightlife, great job security by way of wayne enterprises, new earthquake-proof buildings, low rent, and if you avoid like 3 or 4 neighbourhoods you're basically safe from the villains anyway. meanwhile metropolis might have clean air but your high rent apartment is also 10x more likely to be blasted to dust by alien invaders and your chances of seeing lex luthor's shiny head are never zero

On my way to pride I stopped at a gas station to piss and these two soccer guys went into the single use bathroom together and I think I must have looked visibly annoyed because to my surprise they came out one after the other like 45 seconds later and then apologized to me and told me to use the bathroom when I was sure they were going in there to fuck and I honestly think how annoyed I looked scared them out of it however I just needed to pee and was irritated they were probably gonna make me wait like 15 minutes for the bathroom however the fact I scared some other fags out of fucking the same day as pride does make me feel like Taylor swift i had straight sex at the gay pride parade .
