Batman: The Animated Series (TV Series, 1992-95) Episode 36: "Moon of the Wolf" (11 November 1992)

DC announced their full slate of live-action films for the next few years, which actually differed a bit from the one we had previously heard reported. The main difference I noticed is that instead of the Green Lantern/Flash team-up we had heard was in the works, we're getting separate Green Lantern and Flash movies. Sadness!

Ah well. Good excuse for DC-themed bondage, right? And while we're at it, let's work in some Halloween flavor with Batman chained down and left at the mercy of a wolf man!

X-Men: Days of Future Past is out on DVD today! Whoo! Quicksilver shows why he's someone I'd love to share an elevator ride with (though, that looks like it'll hurt like hell to take off), while Magneto restrains Beast using some sort of metal statue thingies.

Edge of Tomorrow (Film, 2014)

The biggest DVD new release this week was Edge of Tomorrow, one of the best films of the summer. And as an added bonus, Tom Cruise gets gagged, which I'm sure a lot of you have wanted for a while. (Not because it's hot or anything, but just because you want him to stop talking.)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TV Series, 2012-present) Episode 10: "Panic in the Sewers" (24 November 2012)

Tomorrow the complete first season of Nickelodeon's CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is going to be released, even though I'm pretty sure every single episode of the season is already available via the smaller collections they've put out sporadically? I guess it's helpful to have it all in one place. Anyway, in this episode--stop me if you've heard this one before--April gets kidnapped!

Bob’s Burgers (TV Series, 2011-present) Episode 67: "World Wharf II: The Wharfening (or How Bob Saves/Destroys the Town - Part II" (18 May 2014)

I hear tonight is the season premiere of Bob's Burgers, one of my favorite shows on television! So here, have some bondage from last season's finale!

The Legend of Korra (TV Series, 2012-present) Episode 40: "After All These Years" (3 October 2014)

Today was the season premiere of The Legend of Korra: Book Four! And we met a new character, Kuvira. Kuvira is definitely not being heavily foreshadowed to be a dictator in the making and possibly this season's antagonist (I'm just speculating here, but he foreshadowing is pretty heavy). She's also a metalbender who uses her bending for a noble purpose: bondage! We see her here thwarting an earthbender bandit attack all by herself, slinging strips of metal at them to wrap their ankles, wrists, and--probably most disconcertingly for the victims--even using them as blindfolds.

My Little Pony (TV Series, 1984-87) Episode 15: "The Great Rainbow Caper" (3 October 1986)

Another of this week's new releases was, believe it or not, the complete series of My Little Pony G1. As I've mentioned before, this show was pretty awful, but it did have quite a bit of bondage!

(By the way: the pony that's captured her is named Surprise. Just... "Surprise." Even the names were lazier in G1.)

Transformers: Prime (TV Series, 2010-13) Episode 11: "Speed Metal" (9 April 2011)

The biggest DVD release this week is (unfortunately) Transformers: Age of Extinction, so here's some Transformers bondage! I like the use of the seatbelts as bondage here, it really makes sense for a Transformer to abduct someone that way.

Kind of reeling in disbelief that October starts tomorrow. But you know what that means! Best of September!

10. The bondage itself (or what we can see of it) is fairly unremarkable, but it has a lot of factors guaranteed to draw me in. (Orlando Bloom, restrained by a large crowd, seeing a gag in the process of being tied in place, very yes.)

9. Again, the bondage itself is kind of meager (just a chain), but seeing a physically intimidating woman drag another woman around on a leash is just all kinds of amazing.

8. Nets are criminally underrated!

7. Whoa! We have a ringer! I just posted that one yesterday! Shenanigans! In all seriousness, I love the excessive nature of the bondage here.

6. That's gonna hurt like hell to take off later.

5. Excessive rope + struggling = Sonic bondage in a nutshell. Always visually appealing!

4. Great position here and a great shot with only the boots of the enemy in frame.

3. Not the biggest zip-tie fan when there are so many other great options out there, but this is a really great shot that really emphasizes the subject's helplessness.

2 & 1. I had trouble choosing between shirtless Robin and slightly better bondage Robin. In the end, this is a bondage blog, so the better pose/bondage won out, but both of these are great!

The Simpsons (TV Series, 1989-present) Episode 367: "We're on the Road to D'owhere" (29 January 2006)

So, last night was the much ballyhooed crossover between The Simpsons and Family Guy. I'm really not a Family Guy fan--quite the opposite, actually--but I fully understand why this is a big, big deal for a lot of people.

Anyway, Bart continues to be a surprisingly frequent bondage "victim," and as always, it's pretty spectacular.

Star Trek: The Next Generation (TV Series, 1987-94) Episode 153: "Descent, Part II" (20 September 1993)

Did you know: today is Star Trek: The Next Generation's 27th birthday! Happy birthday, TNG! In honor of the occasion, here's TNG's designated damsel in distress (seriously, never figured out why it was always him) Geordi La Forge. In a twist, it's actually Geordi's friend Data holding him captive. Data is being manipulated by Lore using the emotion chip.

Scandal (TV Series, 2012-present) Episode 38: "YOLO" (5 December 2013)

Finally getting to this week's DVD new releases, luckily there weren't too many of them so we'll have no problem catching up!

Behind Door Number 1, I give you season 3 of Scandal. I don't watch the show, so I can only hope given the title of the episode that the reason this lady is being tortured is because she used that awful acronym.
