Today is World Mental Health Day and I'm not going to pretend I always feel on top of the world or as happy as I look in this picture. Pretty much every human being I know suffers with at the very least getting trapped into negative cycles and thought patterns that are the beginning of an imminent spiral of doom (or so it seems) so much so that it becomes detrimental to their well being and that's only the peak of what so many ppl including myself have to battle with day in day out. I am one of those ppl that used to never allow myself up until recently to admit that I too suffer from keeping good mental health on a daily basis but honestly I do. Sometimes you focus so much on the people you love and care about around you that are going through shit you forget about yourself. You can't look after  anyone unless your good first. Anyone with any sort of depth and creative mindset seem to really be affected when up against the world and soceitys constructs and ideals today. Especially when your up against yourself as we all are. I know im my biggest critic so self love is something I have to constantly grind into my mindset as much as I can. The only thing that keeps me going are the people in my life, my friends, family and sometimes even complete strangers that might have said something positive  or uplifting  to me  that has  completely  turned around my  entire week with one  sentence. So be honest with yourself  and each other. Use today to bring a greater awareness into your own mind of how you might look after yourself abit better from today onwards and check in on yourself on how your feeling and whether your thoughts and actions are serving your greater good or not. Also consider the fact sometimes you have no idea what someone else is going through and how they may be feeling and get into the habit of extending some positivity and love to them. Vunerability is a common emotion people don't like feeling because it makes them uncomfortable.  So, to especially be and allow yourself to feel vunerable is a Strong act. The strength comes not from stopping the exposure of your truth but it is within the knowing that you are not any 'less' because of that emotion.
