I’m not an Asra stan but I’ve been thinking about BACKSTORY and ANGST.

I’m retconning it so that they knew each other as kids because their parents were old friends. Ginger’s parents would visit whenever they passed through Vesuvia, but when Asra’s parents disappeared they were well out of town and unable to help. It wasn’t until years later that they reunited at the masquerade.
