Person A and Person B are playing lovers in a show. During rehearsals Person A ends up catching feelings for Person B in real life but the day before opening night, Person B gets injured and their understudy/cover has to go on as Person A’s love interest instead.
Person A works as a stagehand and Person B is a performer in a musical. Every night during the show, Person A dances with Person B in the wings during the musical numbers where Person B isn’t needed onstage.
Person A and Person B share a dressing room and during intermission, they try on each other’s costumes and take selfies.
In real life, Person A and Person B are dating and Person C is Person A’s ex. However, they’re all currently in a show together where Person A is playing Person B’s friend and Person C is playing Person A’s lover.
Person A is a swing and one day when one of the performers suddenly can’t do the show, Person A has to step in. However, Person A hasn’t had to play this role yet and they haven’t had many chances to rehearse it so they’re feeling very nervous. Person B, who is a stagehand and has watched the show every single night, knows all the lines and blocking for this character and helps Person A practice backstage before the show.
Person A works front of house at the theater and Person B is a performer. Every night after the show ends, Person A rushes to stage door so they can be the first person there to greet Person B when they come out of the theater.
Person A and Person B played lovers in a show together years ago. Now they’ve both been cast in a different show where they’re playing rivals.
Person A always arrives to the theater early to leave a little anonymous note on Person B’s dressing room door wishing them good luck.
Person A’s makeup for the show is really complex and takes a while to get off at the end of the day so they’re always the last one to leave the theater. After each show, Person B sticks around in Person A’s dressing room to keep them company until they’re finally ready to go.
Person A works in wardrobe and always hides silly little surprises in the pockets of Person B’s costumes as a running joke. Then Person B has to try not to laugh when they reach into their pocket and discover the surprises while onstage.
