weird that that last ask came off pretentious, as they were talking about him being pretentious. idk i just noticed that.. and it could be seen as pretentious that i'm pointing that out but whatever, its love from me. But on the topic of krule, he looks more depressed than ever. in those kcrw performance videos he looks quite literally on the verge of tears, the whole band, especially the drum+bass, there's sorrow there. the energy,, they could be in transformative times. i think we all are tbh

not quite sure what you meant at the beginning there, but yeah, we’re all pretentious, don’t worry. and i agree with you, i think it’s probably because he’s really heartbroken + jaded with being a celebrity. honestly from his oldest songs he always seemed to me like someone stuck in an existential crisis and upset over a heartbreak. he seems like the obsessive type too. you can tell from the lyrics that he actually gives a shit about astrology (which is hilarious because i’ve had a fan call me out on mentioning that topic here) - that COULD be a sign he’s looking for answers or explanations for things he’s hopeless about. i do think we’re in transformative times too, both individually and collectively.. everything’s pretty shit tbh, i’ve stopped caring about so many things, and who knows what can happen when it’s so difficult to just give a fuck.
