I'm cutting down on drinking and have almost quit smoking and I'm reading books on bone density and muscle mass in women as we age and I'm eating the recommended amount of fibre and protein and I'm swimming and I'm trying to heal my attachment style and I'm planning to walk the coast path alone and I'm reading every morning and I'm taking deep breaths and I'm trying not to think about my impending promotion that I am not ready or qualified for and jesus. fucking. christ, has it always taken this much concerted effort to simply be functional and healthy? is everyone else also only just about treading water? I have no mortgage, car, kids, pets or spouse to worry about I STILL only just about manage 50% of things, sometimes. HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS
