Being positive doesn’t mean pretending everything’s fine when it’s not. It’s about acknowledging that things are not fine, but knowing you can get through it and come out better, stronger and wiser.
Be kind to yourself. Take risks and make goals, but don’t be afraid if you don’t achieve them all at once. Take your time to rise.

By deciding that you want to recover, you’re already on your way to a better future.

if they don’t support you, don’t encourage you, don’t defend you, don’t respect you, don’t protect you, don’t worry about you, don’t ask about you, don’t talk about you, or don’t wonder about you, then they don’t care about you. don’t stay in an unfulfilling relationship; a person that doesn’t care, doesn’t love.
stop believing that you ran out of time to shape yourself into who you want to be! stop believing that its ruined! stop believing you don’t have potential! you are not a fixed being! you have endless opportunities to grow.
Back in high school during my jr year I went on this art field trip, long story short. At the end of the trip, the artist gave us some life advice and it went something like “always give it 3 days, if you’re feeling down the first day let it flow into the 3rd day and something will change” now I’m 22 and I still hold onto that. It’s all mental. Nothing can ever stay the same.
thank you for this so much

Relationships & friendships are supposed to lift you up, not drain you of energy.
Being an introvert makes you incapable of friendship and love
Defs agree to disagree on this one. It might mean that social interaction can be a bit energy depleting, but nevertheless friendships and family are still supposed be uplifting and supportive regardless of introversion, ambiversion or extroversion.

You will probably fail more often than you succeed. The more comfortable you become with the possibility of failure, the more likely you are to find success.
improving, growing, and healing
Just because you have left that toxic situation, doesn’t mean you’re automatically healed and shouldn’t care anymore. It’s okay if you still care. Give it time to work through.
