Our paths may look similar, or even the same, but we are all on our own unique journeys. There no ONE right way to do anything, and the more you worry about what other people are doing, the less energy you have to invest in yourself and creating the life you want.
Do yourself a favor, and the next time you find yourself silently (or verbally) judging someone, just say: “Okay. Good for them, not for me”. This releases you of the negative bond that the judgement creates.
I truly believe we all just want to be happy, and we’re all doing our best (for the most part) to get there. My opinions differ from most of the people in my life, and in the world, so my idea of “doing your best” is obviously going to look and feel different from basically everyone else’s. Not everybody knows what I know, many don’t even know what they truly want, or how to get there, so feeling good might not be as important to them. That’s ok. This doesn’t stop me from doing my thing.
In my moments of peace it’s natural to give others the benefit of the doubt, when I’m caught up in contrast it’s not always as easy, but those are the moments I need to practice it most. No matter when or where, it always feels better to accept than to judge.
We’re all in this together 🌎❤️
