Yea I guess Nightmare on Elm Street is a good horror movie but I think the one that stuck with me the most was when I looked deep inside myself one day and realized that I crave the same violence I fought so hard to get away from because I was in fight or flight for so long that when I’m not fighting to survive I feel like I’m suffocating and that realization has left me with an indescribable guilt because how can I ask someone who loves me to break and beat me in the same way I cried into his chest reliving in flashbacks because to me violence and love are a thin line swaying one way or another solely on the intention of the bruises? But yea uhm, I thought Nightmare on Elm Street was cool
