idk .... gardening feels like knitting to me, in the sense of it being a very physical and sensory oriented hobby that is also a creative outlet. theres also the aspect of getting to take care and nurture something + he gets to bake his friends a chiffon cake w the pandan leaves HE grew ^_^ . and im not too familiar w gardening but i feel like theres a somewhat larger room for error . also all else failing i imagine the spore network wld help w getting a gauge on if his plants needed more or less water . anyway so sol absolutely gardens TRUE . and if he doesnt he SHOULD .
Iām a Caldwell pc fan for lyfer, but he has truly never been more locked in than he was with boggy. I donāt know if itās due to him simply being caldwellās most recent character, skaldova being a shorter campaign, or him being on his best behavior for Jake but boggy is so funny and so sad and just has a very succinct and obvious arc throughout the campaign while still leaving an opening for more that he is so easily lovable and easy to root for the. The running bit about the budsā brutal deaths is one of the funniest running bits ever done on Naddpod while simultaneously culminating in a very satisfying and well earned twist. Also heās middle aged š«¶š
idk why but almost every campaign in NADDPOD ends up with my hcing the characters as such: Jake's character transmasc, Emily's character transfem, Caldwell's character some sort of nonbinary

Ok I finally posted the second chapter of What Is Left When Everything Else Falls! I've been sitting on it for a bit because I wasn't sure if I actually liked it, but I think it works. I know I said I would do Sol next, but I got like halfway writing his chapter and realized that it wouldn't make sense to just time skip. So we have Calder (who I definitely didn't majorly project on teehee) going through the first couple days after the Crick fell. Hope y'all enjoy!
Itās actually crazy how many similarities Eldermourne and Cloudward, Ho have.

Crazy in a good way, mind you. Iām on my Eldermourne relisten right now, and Iāve decided that the two āseasonsā are siblings. Iām just gonna list a bunch of similarities Iāve noticed, I canāt stop thinking about it.
Most apparent is Emilyās characters in both seasons. Fia and Marya are both intelligence based characters that dump charisma. They both have familiars whose old owners were friends of theirs.
Lake and Ghost Dog! Two old dogs that love to be lazy, owned by older men who often spout (arguably) senseless platitudes.
Iām sorry, but Comfrey and Stella are different flavors of the same person. I donāt know if itās been talked about yet, but theyāre wildly similar. Iām relistening to Eldermourne right now, and in a short rest, Murph talks about how Stella puts you in the position where you have to make things awkward. Itās so true for both old women. They come in all positive and assured and charismatic, and they will NEVER bring up the thing that you need to talk about. You have to stop the carousel and say āHey, you really hurt me.ā. Perfect characters that I love and hate.
Lou Wilson is in both playing an old man who is extremely passionate about their work and friends.
A bunch of old people/friends getting back together to do one last job. On said job, they will inevitably face the groups disparaged mentor/creator and come to terms with her. (Iām mainly referencing the Hexbloods here, but the Endo-Friendos could kind of apply)
Irina and Ludmilla: NPCās who had a very special connection to Emilyās character in the past, and left her a familiar-like companion. Propped up by an evil force and made to fight the heroes against their will, but inevitably being freed from the evil control. Their epilogues include joining a crew on a ship to adventure and explore new frontiers.
Emily plays a Battlesmith Artificer.
I do really think that these characters could really easily slot in together, especially the Hexbloods and the OG crew of the Zephyr. Tarragon and Monty would obsess over plants, Daisuke and Corbeau would discuss their rules of life, Maxwell and Jabari would talk about how important it is to maintain your body, Hank and Van would spend a lot of time comparing their weird curses that arenāt necessarily curses, Zirk and Marya would bond over tinkering and licking weird substances, and Olethra and Fia would relate to being young and wanting to prove themselves to their mentors.
Plus Daisuke and Corbeau would definitely fuck, right?
