Hello all!

I am new at the whole writing thing, however I'm trying to improve myself. I'll be writing as regularly as possible (only ACOTAR for now, though that might change at some point), and requests are open. I don't write smut, however I will write fluff/angst/pretty much anything for all canon ships+Elriel and Elucien, as well as platonic fics for anyone else. Feel free to drop an ask, or just chat with me about books!

Hey everyone,

It’s no secret I’m a big nature lover (seeing as I’m constantly reblogging mountains and stuff). If you’re American, I’m asking you for a big favour today:

The forest service is considering repealing the No Roads Rule which would allow logging and unchecked development to irreversibly damage millions of acres of beautiful, pristine wilderness—destroying critical habitat and beloved recreation areas in the process. Once these forests are gone they can't be brought back. We must protect them now so future generations can enjoy the same wild places, healthy ecosystems and outdoor traditions we have today.

We’re already hurtling towards irreversible climate change. Don’t let them take our national forests and public lands just to make a few billionaires even richer

#we've overdeveloped everything #I live near a national park #it was (and is) still one of the largest but it has lost so so so much land to developers #they've taken out almost every smaller patch of woods to build stupid stuff we don't need which has led to wildlife displacement #and those animals then go into housing communities where they then have to be forcibly removed #if it isn't necessary then take the inconvenience and spare the environment

What is the largest WILD mammal (not pets and not livestock) you've seen near where you live/lived?

Small (mice/rats/guinea pigs/mole/bats/etc) Medium small (rabbit/racoon/opossum/etc) Medium (fox/hare/capybara/koala/etc) Medium large (cougar/wolf/seal/hyena/boar/etc) Large (zebra/grizzly bear/lion/kangaroo/etc) Large large (elephant seal/moose/rhino/hippo/camel/etc) Even larger (elephant/giraffe/etc??) Whales???

Hella curious because I live in an urban area and the largest wild (debatable) mammals I've seen are rats (so sad), and it blows my mind that there are whole ass truck size moose walking around people's streets

#when we lived in Iceland and Australia there were whales but idk if those count as near #but there was a kangaroo in our yard once

I wanted to take this last day of Elain week to shout out the wonderful little community we have here. Elain week last year was the first event I was able to participate in as a commissioner, and it still blows me away how welcoming it is. This fandom truly can be a prison sometimes, with hate flung at us from all sides for the unforgivable crime of appreciating the gentle spirit that is our flower girl. But, much like Elain, we choose to see the beauty where others turn away. We choose kindness over nastiness. We choose hope instead of hate. And I am forever grateful for it 💜

thr funniest part of therapy to me is when you first come in and you're exchanging niceties and they say "hello! how are you" and you say "im fine how are you :)" and then 30 seconds later they put on their therapist voice and say "so how are you doing?" and you go well lisa. believe it or not im doing Bad
