After many hours of research. I present to you what I believe to be the growth and maturation of the angry potato!! That fat tiger cub has a name and I believe it is Topan! (He has a brother named Jaya and a sister named Kasarna and they look very similar :O)

Born and raised at Chester Zoo in the UK and now residing at Park du Reynou in France!

so i have also been doing research into this grumpy boy, and i think it’s v possible that this is jaya, not topan.  the sole basis for this is that when i asked Paul Wiggin, the photographer of the early pics, where this boy was now, he said that he was at Manor Wildlife Park after being born and photographed at Chester Zoo.

Not to be extremely weird but Jaya and Topan were photographed on the same session/day, I believe this cub is Jaya:

Here are photos of the same cub a month later, he is the only cub photographed this session

And here is Jaya as an adult:

I believe if you compare the facial markings you will agree that the original grumpy potato is Topan :)

this is the photo that Paul Wiggin said was the cub that ended up at Manor Wildlife Park, which would indicate that this is Jaya.

This is a slightly different photo from the ones that you posted. I think it is increasingly possible that Jaya and Topan were both grumpy potatoes.

That is the same cub as the original potato (Topan IMO), and way here is my evidence:

I’ve just been staring at these tigers for a long ass time so lol, I could be wrong but I’m pretty confident. (they were both angry potatos though yes)
