TenKuro — Episode 4

Oh yeah boy. Another week, another episode, another mountain of misunderstandings. I don't know how but "misunderstandings" has to be my favorite thing in anime, specially if they are comedy, goddamn. Funniest thing ever. I'm so ready for this. Let's see how Yomi antics and presence keeps dragging down Iana into the rabbit hole on this one.

Having Iana misinterpret anything said by Sol is insane. I fucking love it... You know, somehow until now I hadn't thought about the magic thing at all, it was so detached from the story as a concept that I kinda got surprised about it being brought back lol. That said...

And having him being someone that has studied magic and poison feels like a nasty combo... even more considering we have seen him before using a sword, didn't we? Poisons, Swordsmanship and Magic. Quite the toolset this boy has... Makes me wonder how was his actual arc in the original story that Iana wrote that required him to master all these lol.

Oh boy! But that's right, when you write your own kinks... these type of things happen...

I will be in a worse situation that Iana if some stories i've wrotten became a real world and I got isekaid in these. Please, do not make me go through that, world. And obviously, we had to leave it on a cliffhanger where we switch the duel participants... interesting. We've seen Iana wielding a sword before, but I wonder if that was just luck or she actually has skills... which I doubt, but considering how of a weeb she was, she might have some weirdo mental gymnastics or explanation for this... or perhaps the original Iana did had these skils and they got transferred to her. Who knows, for all I know there might not even be any duel next week and get it called off for some ridiculous reason rolf. Still. Loving it, can't wait once again for the next episode. This anime is an amazing pleasure for me, honestly...

A Wild Last Boss Appears! Ep1-4

The title, is a lie. I watched episode 1-3 weekly and forgot till now about even making a post, surprise! I'll comment stuff as usual. Or not, depends on how much you have seen me write before.

... I've read this series before. I did not even knew it had an anime announced until it suddenly appeared in my feed that it was about to air. It, was, essentially, going under my radar until now... that's a bit fucked up because I fucking loved this manga and I still do, I guess i'm just stupid and since I am not into a single unique news site that actively prompts about stuff I care enough to make this be brought into my attention or something... point is, this adaptation for me appeared out of nowhere and like that, like this post about episode 4 will do, which will appear out of nowhere ignoring all previous 3 episodes because that's how lazy I am, will appear out of nowhere in your feed! Yay! Either case, I started reading this manga before there was a chapter 20 translated. I started this one really early and I was quite proud... So for the last 3 episodes, i've been enjoying quite a lot of this adaptation. Even more considering my memory from the start is foggy as fuck and I don't remember anything of this series, outside a few factors or memes that I do remember seing. Anyways, episode 4, starts right where episode 3 ended (wow, thanks for telling that! I am sure that without this info, not one would knew!) so it continues with Aries and Lufas talk... I need to say that honestly the anime design of Aries doesn't quite convinces me, but he looks like a cute femboy enough so for me this is like FIIIINE, i will eat it. Like, not gonna complain that much but it is what it is. I don't know.

Like, honestly, I don't know what it is. I don't like it, i feel it could have been way way better. But fiiiiiine. You know what? This one is way harder to think what to write about for me, afterall, I can't really theorize or wonder what the plot will be about... i know already what it will be about... I've read it! Dammit?!

That said, I find it extremely funny how long and extremely unneeded and complex was Mars monologue. Truly, generic anime villain of the week.

Megrez face is incredibly comically funny here. I love it. Lufa reaction as well... now, small ramble here because of the situation this scene depicts: This scene kind of represents well an interaction between two persons that, one believe that their relationship has no changed or are still being friends despite years of no contact and someone that has probably moved or gotten into an awkward position because of that... I know this is even more related but Snack Basue, another anime I'm watching at around the same time of writing this showcases in episode 6 a similar situation. It sucks, honestly. However, with some smart talk, most of the time it might be fixeable... Megrez situation as well... you know when you do something and later on you find out it was the worst decision you could have made? Or probably, not the results you expected? Yeah, that's him at the moment. It sucks, but as Lufa said, suck it up man. You did your decision, live proud to it. Thank god I don't have regrets. Eh? I find it funy how they reused the exact same frame multiple times through this conversation, it kinda works way too weell too. It is an easy but simple way to reuse content. Reminds me of a lot of The Eminence in Shadow doing a lot of this, exact same frames but reused smartly so most people will not even notice they were looking at the exact same static frame multiple times through the episode. And wow, you know? That's Aries, that's a boy, a really cute boy! and he's in one frame here! You could say, this is One Frame Man. Eh? Not one will get taht, right? Why did you write that?

You know what. I have a nitpick here. I fucking hate these extremely long, almost uncanny and fake laughs that anime do, specially if they aren't for comedy purposes but serious scenes like here where they are not even hinting this is comedy too. You know? You would have guessed a 25 seconds long laugh would be a comedy scene but is not and it is also extremely awkward. I hate it. Please don't do this again, thanks. (As if I had any power about the anime decisions) Understood? Understood. Now let's go back to see more Aries.

And now for the final act of the episode... Lufas can finally not longer need to do her own BDSM act (which was hidden for us to see?!) with her wings! And honestly, that's a cute design... Weird, it reminds me something else, but I can't really pinpoint it where is it... and somehow that memory is in a +18 section... hmm...! I guess that can't be it haha! There's no way they would do a reference like that, haha...! Right? Right?

Aries... you're a brat... way more of a brat that I remember. I like, and yeah, Aries getting his gender confused by another character is a good reminder that he is, truly, a femboy.

And you know, might be late to mention it now, but every single time Lufa laughs. I can't just not think about Opera TM.

But I can't even say It doesn't fit. It is an insane performance, honestly. And I enjoy it. Probably the highlight of the adaptation so far is Lufas seiyuu.

And you know... for some reason, I love way way way more the ending with these almost 0 moving visuals than the opening.

I can't be the only one, right? The song is a banger man. I like it waaaaaaaaaaay more than the opening, is a lot way more... I don't know. It somehow sticks way more in my mind than the opening for this series, and that's usually hard for an anime, to make an ending way more memorable than the opening for me, atleast.

I have not clue if anyone is evn reading this, but i wonder if there's a full version of the background image... Oh well, that's it for this episode... and yeah, i will not comment on that postcredit scene, because I will go into an amazing ramble from my memories about this series returning. I'll just say neat. Amazing depiction honestly, I love it a lot, mysterous even.

On-Hold Anime: Snack Basue, Episode 6

I... don't know what to say. I said I was gonna write about some newer shows that I was watching and after a small depressive (actually, not depressive, just sad, because I am trying to sound fancy and cooler and mysterious and way deeper in depth that I am actually am) arc in the last days, I've chosen to resume one of these shows I stopped watching a few months ago, because I simply was too busy with life to care about watching anime. Guess what. My life is still busy but I will not pretend that I care about it and watch anime anyways!

As you likely already read in the title, i'm watching Snack Basue! Eh? Yeah. I know, you probably don't even know what this series is or that it even existed, because not one that I knew that was sane was watching it. That's it. There's not particular reason for me to choose this series again and finish it outside of pure, genuine "I liked it back when i started but I couldn't bother to finish it because of external factors that are not longer pressuring me" type of shit... no, actually there are reasons for why I am choosing this one, but we will get on these later. So yes, for now, it is just simply, because I can. And don't trust me that I will elaborate on other reasons later, because I don't trust me either.

Snack Basue is aimed at literally me. The entire plot happens in a fucking snack bar, pretty much! That's my job! My IRL Job! AND IT IS FULL OF ANIME REFERENCES THAT I ONLY UNDERSTAND? (probably? i bet a good chunk of stuff i don't even get it becauses i actually don't get it so fuck it but let's pretend i'm a cultured woman for this instance) This is literally AIMED AT ME! A WEEB! LET'S GOOO!!!

I don't know, but last episode I watched was 5 and so, I am going to go straight away into episode 6. I'll follow a pattern similar to my TenKuro post, aka. I'll post whatever stuff my mind feels liks plus some screens.

You know... I feel this a lot. Sometimes, you just kinda get attracted by the exact same type, unknowingly, and just with a glaze you get it. Even if he's trash. No, probably because he's trash that you can immediately tell. And precisely because he's trash, is that your kokoro (mine) goes doki doki. Even if he's trash.

But usually... exactly as Akemi...

You manage to snap back into reality... Or hopefully, before you're into a more compromising situation... which in this case is "Kill the Demon Lord" Eh? Oh yeah. I forgot to mention... this man has a literal Dragon Quest cosplay, and if you don't have a goldfish memory, there's a literal Dragon Ball GT reference earlier too, where even Akemi, sings a bit of the song. Crazy work, honestly. And then, the gold reason: Making fun of Isekai, then Banished Heroes, and... my favorite!

Villainess stories! But yeah, we have one a long way till now, huh? And even more awareness of the show is amazing. "Not one is watching this series" yeah, about that... you're not wrong, i guess. But I do! Like 7 months late after I planned originally or something but that's enough. The intention is what counts.

Another week, another Tenkuro Episode

Once again, I am here. For this one, I will do a dynamic of me writing reactions as I am watching + thoughts about the entire series so far and ideas, or just whatever things spills on my mind. What? You didn't liked it? Oh well, uh, sorry? Don't read it, then? Otherwise, you can keep reading me!

I've mentioned already how much do Iike this opening? It's unironically girly, too much... yeah, i don't know how to explain it. This thing just brings me back to the time when I used to put K-POP 24/7 in my phone and hearing BTS or EXO all day, all night. And somehow this is extremely on-topic to this series themes, nothing screams more "young girl dreams" than an asian boy band, which is probably why KID PHENOMENON was chosen to make this opening... It just kinda fits way too good! I've been hearing this one song a good amount of times over and over since I hear it for the first time. It has somehow a charm for me that I can't escape from. Small sidenote: I knew i've hard this group before! They did the second season ending for Rurounin Kenshin Remake! And I loved that ending! OMG. Oh well, after deleiting myself with this opening... and repeating it atleast 2 times, it is time to actually proceed with Episode 3.

Yes. I would also love to be spoiled by a cute (sister?) girl... that's not what this scene is actually for, but I just wanted to comemnt that. Iana is a cute portrait so far too. And you're so right, Iana. I also love Konoha so far. How can you be me so real fr fr? It almost feels like you're a self insert! that was designed mainly for girls to selfinser... Decisions, decisions. Writing decisions are coming back to bite you again, huh? Iana? But still, overall, I enjoy this anime way too much. Wait. I've written this much and I haven't gone over 1/4 of the episode? Shit. I guess I'll have to start taking this serious, huh? I don't wanna make a massive absurdly big post either! Geeeeeez!

Oh, Yomi is freaking and gushing out about Iana being evil... and you know what? I would too. She looks way too cooler here. Way too much. I wouldn't mind being an evil bitch if I was this cute and badass looking too. Well, let's see how the story will fix this mess that Iana is in,afterall, Yomi is the problem on this episode. Last episode was a horny wolf, now, some type of toxic, almost yandere-like character, huh? Neat? And then, minutes after of me gushing over random scenes...

Iana?! I don't think this is what people meant when they are saying "Slay, Queen!"?! B-But you know what... This is cool... so keep going, please. That rooftop scene was good. I liked, and somehow the stupid prediction / idea of "isn't she too light to be here? Wouldn't a strong breeze—" then, it happened immediately after. Goddamn. Why is this thing somehow that much of a mirror of my mind? Sol came to the rescue and, everything kind of ended fine... or so youwould say but, nope! even then, the misunderstanding somehow keep accumulating more and more.

Btw, this is what peak female self-insertion stories are about, chat. And with that, episode is over. I'm clapping, mentally, of course: I love it so much, damn. This is so good. The voice acting, the funny stupid sound effects, the opening, and even the worst thing for me so far: the ending, is also still good. For the exact same reasons that the opening is.

I can't even ask more... Outside I guess it getting a good rating, omg. I hope this series doesn't have a definitive ending and gets enough success for DEEN to keep an eye on it and push a second season. We are at episode 3 but I am already hoping there's a sequel already, i'm fucking cooked.

This season has a godly good amount of series that fill my lovely niche. But right now, I want to talk bout this one in particular. The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess.

I fucking love it, first episode is amazing. It hits all the sweet spots. I didn't make a post for Ep. 1 because, honestly, I dunno, I forgot tumblr was a thing, but i've been looking to go back to posting here for a good while, and so it is time to undust this unused account and what best thing to do that start with essentially the stuff I like: Villainesses stuff.

This one will be the one that I'm gonna focus today. Why? Easy.

I haven't read the original material for this one so I am going essentially blind, which makes this entire experience way, way better for me.

This series brings back memories from my time when I used to post at AO3 (i should go back to that, this might hype me up gain) or my previous tumblr account and the post I used to do, they were horny, really horny. Might give that a try. Maybe.

Either way, oh my god. This episode 2 was amazing. I keep remembering that one particular pink haired blob girl that became THE THING that everyone was into in 2022 and I will not mention to keep mysterious factor and look cooler. Spoiler: It is Bocchi.

Villainesses queens, we winnin again. This opening is amazing, honestly. Why? I don't know, it just makes my entire body twitch. It fills me with so much emotions somehow.

And there is a random insert song in a ball scene that is literally rock that I did not expect to hear AT ALL on this setting but somehow is absurdly fucking fitting, specialy considering the whole theme being a story made by a 15yo delusional and introverted schoolgirl.

Yeah, I was like that back then, hell shit, i'm still like that and this episode early part kind of brings back memories from that. That wolf? oh yes, shit. I'm not elaborating on that, but everyone that went through a pace like that, will do.

Also goddamn, men finding this anime unaware they are likely not the demographic that this is aimed is hilarous. I'm sure there are men this one is aimed, but goddamn, average anime watcher! This is not for you!
