people trying to be like "oh Boris Johnson was a good pm" like no he wasn't having thousands of scandals and changing the rules each time you broke them does not qualify as a good PM and he doesn't deserve to feel validated or that he's "done the right thing by resigning"
Having to twist his arm to get him to resign isn't something a good politician does. I think the worst part is, the rest of his party seems to act this way too, meaning this isn't the last we've seen of these half-assed apologies and scandals

was talking to an American friend today about all the stuff in the UK and trying to explain what was going on and they said that they couldn't quite grasp what everyone found so funny.
The situation itself isn't funny like, BoJo needed to GoGo a long time ago and never did so that whole part isn't funny and the circumstances that led to the downfall this week should be taken seriously.
