Yāall, what if the reason Handy always tries to use his hands is that when the residents of the town are revived, their bodies are sort of renewed? Old nerve endings get reactivated, old injuries are brought back to the forefront.
Phantom body parts are a pretty well known thing, occurs after a person loses a body part, and tends to fade over time.
But Handyās revival renews the nerves. It makes him feel the limbs he lost long ago. He keeps trying to use hands that arenāt there because his brain is telling him that they are there.
Which makes every time he realizes that he canāt use them, every time he makes that iconic face, hurt, cus he probably thinks itās stupid of him to forget.

ākids spend too much time on their devicesā well what else are they supposed to do? thereās no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. thereās no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and thereās no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just donāt understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people arenāt truly looking out for them.
They're literally taking away milk bars. You know, the old school lolly/convenience shops that kids could hang out at and buy something yummy with change they found on the ground. There was one next to my old primary school, then it got sold, and the two 'cafe' businesses that have replaced it since have never ever been half as successful. It used to be a really good social spot to just hang out in front of. Now it's sad and lonely, the lights are almost always off, and you have to even check that it's still open.
And other public spaces put metal ridges on every other surface just so skaters won't grind on them. Heaven forbid they have any fun outside the puny little parks we give them.

I wanted to make a post talking about Roblox's new Age Check Verification update, how it works, it's flaws, and the company behind it.
Starting off, on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, Roblox released an update that users had been dreading, where you have to scan your face to be placed in an "age group." Those age groups were, i believe, >9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-17, 18-20 and 21+. (I don't remember correctly, some of these might be off or wrong, I apologize.) Then, you'd only be able to interact with those close to your age range.
Starting with the biggest flaw, what if someone doesn't look their age?A lot of people I know, including myself, have a face younger than we are. Same with people who look older than they are.
Secondly, what if someone ages out of the correct age range?
If a 15 year old ages into the 16+ category? What then? There's no way to verify an age change.
Third, What if a child wrongfully gets put into the 18+ or 21+ category? There's no way to fix such an issue without proof that would be too scary for a child to handle.
Then, they'd be forced to talk to adults. Adults might gr00m or manipulate the child for being young.
Fourth, they clearly haven't done a background check on the company they're pairing with for this AI update.
The company, Persona Identities Inc., is a company known for creating AI generated pornography, deepfake AI scams, blackmail, all using the data of users interacting.
Yes, Roblox is deleting the photos/videos you take. But that's after 30 days. And what about PII? What are they doing with the photos and videos YOU send them? You don't know that.
I encourage you to keep off of Roblox and make it clear that this update is a clear example of what Roblox is doing wrong. If Roblox wants to earn more money, it also has to want to care for it's massive child audience's experiences on the app.
