God, Speak through me today. I'm going to have a tough talk with someone very close today. I know what needs to be said, but please allow me to say it with grace and mercy to this person. Let your love for him show through my words actions I'm this difficult task. It is not the easy way, but I know in my heart it is the right way. Be with both of us today, Lord. Amen.

Lord,
Today I want to lift up all of my worries and anxiety concerning the China Mission Trip. If me going is part of your plan, you will provide the resources. I need not concern myself over the trivial matters. I just to need to listen and obey. That's it. Just obey your command. Why is this so hard for me sometimes? It's not a difficult concept. But it is very difficult to put into practice. Put in me, O Lord, a spirit of willingness and discipline today as I try to obey your commands with a cheerful heart and joyous spirit.
Amen.

Hey there Jesus,
I'm feeling pretty awesome today! You know why? Of course you do, but I'll tell you anyways! Because it's a brand new month! A brand new month that you have chosen to let me live for you. And considering that I messed up yesterday, and my devotional this morning was about fresh starts and redemption, I'd say I feel pretty dang blessed this morning! On top of all of that beautiful grace and forgiveness, I get to go home and see my family (and my puppies) today. Oh, and only one class? AND working with the best boss ever? Yeah, I definitely feel beyond blessed this morning. Thanks for waking me up this morning to spend some time with you. It was lovely, and I look forward to the four hours of worshiping you as I travel home today. In the car by myself, singing as loud as I please for my Lord and Savior? Holla. I pray that all of your children would be able to have the joy you have blessed me with today. And for those you cannot, I pray that you give them peace and strength to pull through whatever struggle they are going through today. Be with them today, Lord, as you have been with me. I love you so much, but know that your love for all of your children surpasses any I could possibly imagine. Help me to continue understanding and remembering your unconditional love as I love on others today.

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7, NLT)
God desires to take care of whatever may be concerning you today. He invites you to give your worries and cares to Him simply because He loves you!
How do you give Him your cares? First of all, understand that cares show up in your mind. When negative, self-defeating thoughts of worry come, you have to recognize them as cares and replace them with the Word of God. For example, if you are concerned about a need today, say out loud, “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.” If you have fear about something, say out loud, “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” If you have sickness in your body, declare, “By His stripes I am healed.” As you meditate on the truth and focus your heart and mind on the Father, those cares and concerns will disappear.
Then, thank Him for giving you peace and joy. Thank Him for working in your life. As you keep an attitude of faith and expectancy, give Him your worries and cares and get ready for the blessing He has for your future!

It’s interesting that the last thing Jesus said on the cross was “it is finished.” It certainly looked like the end. It looked like it was over. But I believe that wasn’t just a statement of fact; it was a statement of faith. He was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now I’ve got total trust and confidence in You that You are going to finish what You started.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning.
When it looks dark in your own life and things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus. “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is “God, I know You are going to turn this situation around. I know You are going to heal my body. I know You are going to restore my family. I know You are going to give me the breaks that I need.” Don’t go around complaining. Speak victory over your circumstances. Trust that He is faithful and that He will complete what He’s started in you!
God wants me to wake up. I don't have to be awake for another hour. So I check out my Bible app as I'm laying in bed. And this is the verse of the day. Real funny, Big Guy. Alright, alright. I'm up.

“…His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23, NAS).
Is there something that you’ve done in your past that you’re not particularly happy about? A choice that you regret? The good news today is that you can be free of guilt and condemnation. You don’t have to live with that burden any longer.
Today’s verse tells us that God’s mercies are new every morning. He’s not ever going to run out of compassion. He’s not ever going to run out of forgiveness. He’s not ever going to say, “Well, this is the last time I’m going to give you mercy.” No, you can have a new beginning every single day!
Let that truth sink down deep into your heart right now. If there is anything from the past that you may still be carrying, take a moment and call on His faithfulness. Call on His mercy. Ask for His forgiveness. Let Him refresh and restore your soul right now. Praise Him and thank Him for the work He is doing in your life and enjoy a fresh new beginning today!
