This time last year I was already long into in active labor. I was so overwhelmed with emotions but mostly anxious. I wanted to see what remarkable being God had helped me carry for 9 months and now into this world. Especially, because I chose to wait until birth to find out your sex. I have experienced a lot in my twenty-four years on this earth but nothing compares to seeing your beautiful face after 18 hours of labor. Labor was no easy task but I was so grateful to have my mommy right by my side seeing me through. On Friday, March 28th 2014 at 8:08pm, Doctor Klein and Doctor Egre told me that I had delivered a healthly 7lb 11ounces and 21 inches baby boy. At that very moment all of my fears, worries, stresses and self doubt lifted. I heard your first cry and thanked God for getting me through this. You saw your Grandmere first; the rock in my life and of course the one holding my hand through it all. She held you to my face and I wept like a baby because I couldn't believe that I could finally see the little being that was kicking, tossing and turning in my belly. The little being who would listen to me pray every morning and every night. The little being who would kick to me singing Beyonce on my drive to and from work. The little being who heard my cries. This was my child. I made you. Grey, you're remarkable. I fell so deep in love as the days past. Becoming a mom was so new but came so naturally I guess that's because I had such a great teacher. I kissed you every chance I could because I thought you'd disappear that's how unreal seeing you and holding you was for me. I prayed that I was everything that you imagined looking down from heaven because you exceeded all of my expectations. Happy 1st Birthday Bubba Mommy Loves You soooo much...👶🎁🎉💙😍😚
