What Would I Do Without You || Jack and Regina
For the briefest of moments, there was stunned silence. Then, a smile tugged at the corners of Jack’s lips as his eyebrows arched in incredulity. Women were the oddest of creatures! “That’s why you’re being so huffy with me? And running away? Because you don’t know where you’re going and I didn’t ask? Really lass!” he shook his head in disapproval with a short laugh, before quietening and regarding her long braided hair. “You know… I’d believe you’re ‘just being honest’ if you looked at me while you were saying it”
Stung by Jack's words, Regina turned and faced him with a look of absolute defiance, her eyes set in glaring protest. "That is exactly why," she told him. "I thought I might think of somewhere to go along the way, but I didn't. And then you know what I thought? 'Damn it, I don't think I really want to go on an adventure with someone as useless and immature as Jack,' and I turned around. Satisfied?"
