azalea greengrass, daisy ridley, nonpartisan. 25. played by madi. council secretary, azalea is the career girl, similar to her sister but more driven to make a difference. she’s passionate about knockturn alley, but doesn’t want anything to do with the gang war. she also handles the city council’s (and the mayor’s) schedules and logs some of the city finances. she’s a very small cog in the ministry machine, but she’s in a critical position. she keeps her head down. she knows how to blend. but she has finally noticed that there’s something up with her sisters, and she doesn’t like it one bit.
aster greengrass, lily collins, campaigner. 27. open. secret order supporter, between jobs (aka up to you & whatever u decide), aster is the sophomore slump. not the most impressive sister, definitely the shortest sister, aster always drifted a little more than her sisters. she’s just as sweet and stubborn as z, but has a totally different drive. it truly appears like she’s the lazy, good-for-nothing sister who takes life as a big joke, but aster has joined up with the crusade, and assists the order in *insert way here*. she doesn’t know everything, but she’s in a very vulnerable, dangerous position, and neither of her sisters know it. she likes it that way. but her order duties keep ensuring that she is unable to keep a steady job, and z is keeping a close eye on her.
acacia greengrass, phoebe tonkin, loyalist. 29. open. semi-blackmailed by the riddle family, acacia is the standard, the bar that has been set. or so the sisters think. acacia has some kind of big secret that riddle discovered and is holding over her head, using her for whatever ends he desires. all of this is up to whoever makes her, as they’ll probably have better ideas than me. i see her as some kind of important position in smelting’s or nurmengard; maybe she works for the warden in some capacity? or maybe she’s some sort of recruiter for riddle at smelting’s? either way, riddle has his hands on her, but it’s not entirely forced. acacia has bought into the idea, and while her relationship with her sisters are rocky, riddle has promised their protection and rise in return for acacia’s eager cooperation.
—– avery, oscar isaac, order member. 33-35. open. older brother to ophelia avery, but has absolutely nothing to do with her business or the riddle family. in fact, he’s just returned home after being gone off doing god knows what for god knows how many years. he had a wife in new york, was starting a family; until she was shot, fatally, due to gang violence. after trying to keep his life in nyc and failing, he came home to discover knockturn suffering from the same thing, and joined up with the order almost immediately. his current mission is to get azalea to trust him, to convert her into an assett that the order can use against riddle. that… goes better and also worse than expected. what he does for his day job & his relationship to his family is totally up to you, but plz. plz make him. his sister has a shakespearean name, so anything shakespearean would be dope.
