I completely agree with most of your post but his partner does seem to be a Zionist. The owner of the group is an open zionist and his partner has said that that man is his mentor and someone he is very close too. He must also be aware of the Faena family bc they’re very well known in Argentina. I’m not saying that makes the think pieces and comments right (like calling him out or spamming his insta) but if you’re close to a Zionist then you’re surely excusing their behaviour. So I get why fans are taking a step back and it IS hypocritical of Pedro to have this persona of an activist but still be friendly with/in relationships with people with very different morals that completely oppose his own. You can’t like posts and share instagram stories and then go have dinner with people that fund charity galas for the IDF.
Hmm... let's take a similar example.
Just because actors in The Pitt drama praise Noah Wyle doesn't mean they're Zionists. Can we definitively call Rafael a Zionist just because he referred to his boss as his mentor?
I think everything can get exaggerated when we don't know the full context. He might be a Zionist, but if he hasn't directly stated it or engaged in explicitly Zionist actions, we should judge even more cautiously. We don't have just cause to condemn him without that.
And honestly, I don't think verifying the truth of all these circulating rumors is the point right now. Everything started as gossip, and all the speculation has gotten overheated. Truth can be distorted, or outright lies can spread as fact. Until the exact details are clarified, I believe we should be cautious even about piling on with words.
I really didn’t want to say anything about this situation, but I can’t stay silent anymore.
A few days ago, the trash outlet TMZ published a rumor about Pedro’s alleged relationship, and then even worse, some no-name gossip sites picked it up and spread it everywhere.
Anyone who has followed Pedro knows that he has never once confirmed any dating rumor and that he’s very private about his personal life. You know what that means? Whether this gossip is true or not, Pedro will not comment on it—because that’s who he is. And that tells us something important: he doesn’t want to discuss it.
Celebrities sell fantasy, and we, the fans, are the ones who consume that fantasy. What we’re not entitled to buy is their private life. If they choose not to share it, we should respect that, just like we respect anyone else’s privacy. Pedro has no obligation to tell the public everything. If he doesn’t want to talk about something, the decent thing is to respect his silence.
Every time people gossip and hype up nonsense, sites like TMZ make money off that noise. Because of that behavior, countless celebrities suffer from paparazzi and invasion of privacy. Even Rafael, who has now been dragged into this situation because of rumors that may or may not be true, is being hurt by it. I always wondered who actually consumes TMZ’s garbage—and now I realize how many of you do. It’s disgusting. People like you are the reason tabloids thrive by ruining lives.
You might think reading gossip is harmless fun, but it’s not. Your careless consumption can destroy someone’s peace of mind. Don’t hurt others for the sake of your shallow entertainment. Do you know why Pedro keeps his private life so guarded? Because of people like you—people who twist half-truths into scandals and gossip until they seem real.
You talk about hugs and kisses as if they mean something romantic. Pedro has kissed Sarah Paulson, Willem Dafoe, and many others. He’s affectionate, playful, and open with friends. That’s part of his culture and personality—he’s a Latino man who expresses closeness through touch. Friendly gestures don’t automatically mean a romantic relationship.
And as for Rafael supposedly being a “Zionist”? That rumor started just because the hotel he works at has connections to Zionist figures. But Rafael himself has never made any Zionist statements. Working somewhere doesn’t make you guilty by association. Disney might support certain political agendas, but people who work there aren’t automatically Zionists. The logic is absurdly one-dimensional.
This isn’t about what’s true or false anymore. It’s about basic decency and empathy. Every time you consume gossip, the person who suffers most is the subject of it. Unless a celebrity chooses to make their private life part of their public image, don’t consume it. Please, just act like a decent human being.
