and thats why her connecting with jessie from toy story made sense to me! its like in toy story 2 where jessie was so excited cause they were gonna take her “out of the box” and be happy but they were literally just gonna use her instead of love her. theres a very sad correlation there

A line that confuses me in mbobhft is "he took me out of my box" cause if anything, he ended up restricting her even more

he took her out of her box to play with her, not to set her free, and he left her in broken pieces when he was done. she’s trying to convey that she feels duped. she thought she had something genuine and real, but she ended up just feeling used and discarded.
