i can't believe i begin my journey in 11 days. it's crazy to think that i am going to leave everything that i know behind in new york and go live on my own in disney world for 5 months. i am so excited, yet so terrified at the same time.

so i was texting my future roommate all day yesterday. we decided we are going to make a bucket list of all the things we want to do while doing the program. i am getting so excited to be in orlando. i hope everyone that's down there already is having a great time! i can't wait to meet all of you in a few months!

Hey everyone, my name is Chris. I am 18 years old from Long Island, New York. In February I was accepted into the Disney College Program for the Fall 2012 semester.  My arrival date in Disney is August 20th. My role will be lifegurading. If you don't know what the Disney College Program (DCP) is, it's a paid internship program through your college that allows you to work for Disney! Anyone can apply as long as you are enrolled in a college/university. I am super excited to begin my DCP experience. I've heard lots of great things about this program.  There are still 88 days left until I move down to Orlando, but this summer is going to fly by. I am going to use this Tumblr page to post disney pictures, rant about the DCP, and just document my whole experience while I am down there. So follow me on my journey!
