My Pride Pieces for 2026

Pansexual Molly. From what I could tell from my research "pansexual" wasn't a term when she was alive. "Bisexual" was barely a term and probably really only used in queer spaces if that. I think over her years spent in Heaven as more terms were added and expanded upon she learned about "pansexual" and found it fit her best Prior to that she may have identified as "bi" before or if she didn’t have a word for it she may have just accepted that she had loved men and women (and maybe some not on the binary) and didn't really label herself. I do think she feels better having a distinct word she can identify herself as and wear proudly. That all being said I do think she has a slight female preference.

Demisexual Lesbian Emily! I go back and forth if she prefers to go unlabeled or not. I think it depends on the universe. Either way she prefers the ladies!

Finally Daisy! Heaven and Hell designs both! Bisexual. Also as she's able to grow more into herself in Heaven and focus on more than just survival she learns more about herself and identifies as demifemale as well!

Emmollsy Fankid!!!

@squirreltastic was 1/3 right when she guessed Daisy on this post

Meet Foxglove! A more unusual name (with sadly no cute Korean or Italian equivalent it's literally just digitalis) but I always loved the name, and I wanted her to be named something unique. Her moms did too!

Foxglove's hair is white daisy petals but the pink is of course from Molly. Giving her Molly's bangs was a bit of an accident when I first started sketching her but I had to keep it!

Her halo and wings represent all three of her parents and the magic and miracle that brought her to life.

Family tree will be filled out more later. This is a good enough version for now. I spent a long time on this I was excited to share.

This cute cat-spider I found. I interpreted the little fish fly as her toy but it could also be her lunch. I suppose it's up to you.

Progress on my hand sewn doll of Daisy.

My first ever OOAK Doll make.

She's a deep sea mermaid based on this palette

Is she perfect? No. Is she mine? You bet she is!

Is Daisy's hair leaves that change color or leaves? If leaves would she have cherry blossoms in her hair during spring?

So her hair is meant to be leaves or special leaves that act like hair hence why she can put her hair up in a ponytail like this

In the spring it's pink and so I guess you could argue that it's flower petals. I don't really draw it any differently but now you've got me thinking about how her hair works (which I was thinking about today)

So I think she has cherry blossoms in the spring which slowly fall out as more leaves grow in. Then the leaves turn orangey red in the fall. In the winter they just loose their color and maybe shrivel up a bit, which isn't scientifically accurate I know but basically there's never a time when she's bald. Then they slowly start to fall out and get replaced by the cherry blossoms and the process repeats. I hope that makes sense. Again I know that's not how trees actually work but it's how Daisy works lol.

A magma drawing session with friends this time was our special interests/hyperfixations It turned into all many of my favorite things. The canvases sesh was with friends from the Doodledate community so that's what's up with the caption under that one.

FIRST OOAK DOLL MAKE PART 3

(Part 2)

(Note. I know this is probably not the most effective or efficient way to do this but I am a beginner, and am using what I've got)

Gave her a bra and ear fins!

I decided the eyes didn't look much like eyes, even vacant eyes, so I put some black plastic eyes.

Using the Same wire and yarn wrapping technique I used for the arms I made her a tail. I then added the top and some fins in the lighter green,

To get the color that matched the palette I combined white and this yellowy cream.

I then curled it around some extra wire as per this tutorial.

It didn't really make it curly and looked too stringy and so I tried combing out.
