A prediction for Stranger Things 5.

I'm not sure if anyone else has guessed this yet (I haven't seen any posts), but I believe Eddie will come back purely for flashbacks and/or a Vecna hallucination. The fact that Vecna kills people who have experienced extreme trauma, makes me believe he will go after Dustin and taunt him with Eddie's death. Dustin hasn't necessarily been much of a target in season 4, so I think the Duffer Bros will ramp it up a hell of a lot.

Alternatively, if they hadn't killed Eddie off, Vecna could have used Chrissy's death against him. And what do we do to stop Vecna's hallucinations? Play the person's favourite song. Master of Puppets maybe?
