Genius but on a savant level making him quirky, odd and at times incoherent. His mind moves faster than his mouth most of the time so he finds himself rambling without making much sense. Tenny is lucky though as he is able to make fun of himself and not take anything too seriously. His brilliance actually makes him awkward and shy around people. That is, until he gets to know you and gets comfortable with you, then he never shuts up. There are rare instances when he is completely silent, locked in his own mind solving some as yet unthought of equation or formula. For this reason he carries around a notebook and is constantly jotting down notes in a form of shorthand only he himself can understand. Tennyson is a very distractable young man, unable to focus on any one thing as he finds all things fascinating. Tenny might be THE smartest person to ever grace the halls of Erudite. But he doesn’t ever acknowledge that. He absolutely cares only about learning things, not knowing them. He is very much a journey, not a destination guy. Though his father would love for him to take over the Faction one day, and while he is the best candidate IQ wise he has no interest in leading and finds the task entirely too daunting.

Oh...umm, right yeah of course. So my dad didn't just want any old name for his only son. Basically he took the last name of his favorite dead poet and made it my first name. Lucky me right?

I will see soon and I bet you’ll be better than you’re letting on, you shouldn’t doubt yourself so much. I guess that would take the fun out of it, I mean if you enjoyed it they should have just left you alone to do it. They wanted you guys to be able to dance that way, why not have fun doing it? [She shakes her head before smiling back at him.] That’s good that you’re active and like to stay healthy, that’s how I am… well it’s how I kind of have to be. [Her smile grows wider when she sees him blushing again.] Oh so you’d ask to drag me? [She arches her brow and smirks.] I don’t think that you’d be able to scare me away, T-Frost. I don’t think there is anything you could do that would make me turn away from you. It would be torture for someone that doesn’t want it, it would be even worse for someone that it’s being forced upon… like you. I can’t say that I know how you feel, because I don’t, but I’ll always be there if you need someone to talk to about it. [She nods squeezing his hand before a grin forms on her lips.] You’re also an Erudite so I see you putting a lot of blue in your apartment, which is where I come in to liven up the place. Blue is sort of a dull color when it’s all by itself. You actually weren’t very far from the city, it’s just a little ways back the way you came. [She smiles before pulling him in the direction of the city.]

Doubting myself is what I do best. It's odd, I know but fun isn't factored in to anything we do, and that is a shame. Erudite is a bit stiff, but no one else seems to care. Yes, Dauntless are required to be in top physical condition, otherwise they are deemed useless and made Factionless. I hate that, you know? that there are these requirements and if not met to the letter we suddenly aren't allowed to have a home or an identity or a family. I want things to change, but I have no idea what it would take to make them. [shrugs and smiles at her] I would ask, yes. I'm not the kind of guy that would make you do anything against your will. It's happened too much to me. W-well then, I'm a lucky guy [blushes and tugs at his ear nervously]. There isn't that much blue...[makes a mental note to throw out the new blue drapes he just bought]. Really? Felt like I was way out in the wilds..

That might be a problem… but you might have rhythm you just haven’t found it yet. I wouldn’t mind learning, it could come in handy some time I’m sure. I don’t think it would be fun to be forced into doing that though, it would be better if it was for fun, at least I think so. [She grins as she feels his muscles.] You can drag me anywhere you want too, T-Frost. I guess I would be happy too, and no I don’t think it’s too soon to use that word. That’s kind of why I thought it would be weird if our parents started dating and we were already in a relationship… You didn’t make me uncomfortable at all actually. [She smiles reassuringly.] I guess I never thought of a leader having to go through all of that, I can definitely see why you don’t’ want it now. Honestly I don’t think I’d be able to handle it either. [She arches a brow playfully.] You’re a guy, T-Frost, no offense but I think your apartment could use a woman’s perspective. It’s not just about reading books that helps you, you actually have to do it too. Kind of like jumping on and off a train, sure you can read how to do it, but you’ll never actually learn how to do it until you actually physically do it. [She smirks before smiling.] I’d love to help and of course I would like to see it!

No, I really don't, trust me. I mean, you don't have to take my word for it, you'll see it soon enough. It used to be fun, but my mom and Lexi have a way of sucking the fun out of everything. It's a talent, really. An evil talent. {sighs and smiles softly at her]. Oh well, that's just, you know I'm pretty active...and I like to be healthy and, yeah..[a blush graces his cheeks for the umpteenth time that day]. But that's good to know, though I would ask, not drag.I just don't want to scare you away by using terms you're uncomfortable with or assuming something is ok when it isn't [bites his lower lip]. All that and more, it's awful. I mean, not for someone who craves it, like my mom, but for someone like me..it's torture, it's hell. Hey, that's not fair! Just because I am a guy doesn't mean I have no taste. Well, if you can get me back to the city, or an area I recognize, I'll show it to you now.

I know someone like that but her humor is a little more sassy than humorous. I love music, the whole dancing thing is still kind of new to me. I haven’t been to very many parties, but it’s basically just moving your body to the right rhythm for the music that’s playing. When you’ve got that down then you’re set. I’m sure you could use those dances for slow songs… possibly. I actually don’t know how to do either of those dances, so you could teach me and I could teach you. [She smiles while nodding.] I could totally drag you. [She shows him her muscles and kisses them.] See I’m buff, I think I could drag you if I really wanted to. [She laughs before looking into his eyes.] You really are. Wouldn’t that be a little awkward for us though, like if they actually did get together? [She makes a fake grossed out face.] What about the leadership position don’t you like? If you don’t mind my asking, of course. Oh no offence but you’ll definitely need a interior decorator and I’d be honored to take the job. [She smirks using her hand to play with his free one.] Oh I know, I’m hilarious. Yeah, that part I have trouble with. I have absolutely no rhythm whatsoever. Possibly, but highly unlikely. Don't worry though, Nat and I were forced, are forced, to dance like that at all the high society events. I don't miss it, but I could teach you if you really want. {his eyebrows raise, impressed] I take it all back, you can drag me anywhere you want, Bells. It might be awkward but I'd be really happy for my mom. And it's not like it really matters to our, well, our relationship. Is it too soon to use that word? I'm really sorry if it is, I'd hate to make you uncomfortable. {grimaces slightly] The confines, the shackles..it's terrible. Never able to do or see what I want, always forced to do and see what others want. No time to explore or learn just for the sake of learning not for any specific applied purpose. To be responsible for an entire Faction of people and their well being and their future. It's completely overwhelming and I already feel like I'm drowning. Hey, how do you know? I could be amazing at interior design, I've read enough books on the subject [grins]. But your help is more than welcomed. Do you want to see it now?

That’s how it is with me too, so I guess I’ll just find out if I’m the type of person you can be humorous around. [She nods before smirking.] I think I can handle it. I’m sure I could teach you what little I know about dancing, or we just don’t have to dance. I’m not actually sure if there is going to be any dancing. I think it will be fun to teach you though, as long as you don’t step on my toes. [She points a finger at him acting serious before a smile breaks through on her lips and she starts laughing.] That would be a lot easier than having to drag you; you’re really sweet, you know that? [She smiles as he plays with a strand of her hair.] Ah, that makes sense, my father is pretty much alone too when I’m not there. I don’t know that he gets all that lonely though, I mean I feel like he does but he would never admit it either. What’s with our parents? [She rolls her eyes playfully.] I always thought it was better to have someone there when you are experiencing things that you don’t think you can do on your own. It makes things a lot easier in the long run. That’s good that you already have everything set and planned ahead like you did. Seems like you know exactly what you’re going to do, I wish I was like that. I’m sure you’ll figure out what you want to do when the time comes, I mean you already have the apartment and everything and it hasn’t been your birthday yet. [She can’t help but laugh when he snorts and laughs.] That was pretty bad, wasn’t it?

I'm usually humorous without trying so..yeah. But, I like music, actually I like it alot. I would love to be more coordinated physically, to know how to dance or at least not look like a doofus while trying.Well, it's an abandoned warehouse, right? That usually involves loud music, strobe lighting, drinking...I would assume there'd be dancing. I can waltz! Or rather, ballroom dance. It was required when I was younger. It's normal dancing I can't do. [smiles wryly and blushes]. I'm not sure you'd be able to actually drag me, good thing you don't have to. Am I? I think that's just my natural way [shrugs].Maybe we should set them up? Could be a match made in heaven! [laughs]. Of course, that's only natural. But I don't. Because I won't accept the leader position. I would suffocate if I did. Which leaves my life completely open to life and all it has to offer. No specifics except where I live. You should come see it! Maybe help me decorate or something?[grins] Actually I thought it was great.

I don’t think it will take long, unless you have a dry sense of humor as well, I’ll be the only one laughing at my jokes. [She smiles as he blushes giving him a wink not able to stop staring at the awkward smile on his face.] So am I now that I have someone like you to go with. That would be so much better than the people she tries to hook me up with, I swear she knows nothing about me or what I like. I would definitely drag you along. [She nods before laughing.] I know what you mean, like you want to please your parents because you want them to be proud of you and such. I feel the same way about my father sometimes, but it’s nowhere near as extensive for me as it is for you. At least you guys have each other though, I’m sure it does help a lot knowing that you aren’t by yourself in all of that. I think you’ll always wonder that until you just do it, at least before it’s too late. [She can’t help the uncontrollable urge to smile when he does.] I think they do in Abnegation. [She grins before laughing again.]

I can, at times. I guess it really depends on the mood I'm in and who I'm talking to [shrugs]. But you've been warned. Also, I don't know how to dance. Not sure I mentioned that, it's usually implied though. Goes along with me not being graceful in any respect. You wouldn't have to drag me, I would go willingly [resumes playing with a strand of her hair]. Oh no, I mean..sort of. I don't need her to be proud of me, I know she is already just because I exist and I'm her son. Like I said, it's complicated. And it's just me and my mom, I think she gets lonely but she would never admit it. [frowns before shrugging again]. Natalie is in a similar boat but still different. But yes, having her there, going through it with me, has made all the difference. I'm moving out in a few months, the day I turn eighteen. I already have my place bought and set up, just waiting for me. That's the first big step, moving out. We'll see where it goes from there. tries to hide his laugh but ends up snorting and blushing]. That was so wrong, yet so funny.
