- BACKSTORY -
Also known as the Praemonstra Supra, Moon Maiden is a superpowered entity created by the Hundred, a group of peacemongering ancient Roman ghosts who reside on the Moon, to battle the villainous Centurion.
After human astronaut Hugh Klein encounters the Hundred during a lunar mission, they allow him and his wife Jenny to adopt and raise the infant.
When she turned 16, her powers of gravity control manifested. Hugh and Jenny explained Laurel's origins to her, and she and Hugh traveled to the Lunar Villa, where the ghostly remains of the Hundred explained her origin and their purpose to them. At this point Laurel embarked on her career as the Moon Maiden.
She soon made many friends among the superhero community, was an early member of the Justice League, and shared at least one adventure with the Teen Titans. Throughout this time, her most frequent opponent was the Centurion.
During one of the Centurion's most grandiose schemes, he used a device called an Erasure Weapon, which was capable of erasing a being from history. After erasing several notable heroes from existence, Moon Maiden, along with the remaining members of the Justice League, the Teen Titans, and Infinity Inc. took the battle to the Centurion, in what was known as 'The Century War'. In an act of self-sacrifice, Moon Maiden, took herself and the Centurion high into the sky, and there destroyed his weapon, causing a great explosion, and removing the two of them from history. Only Hugh Klein was able to recall his child and the events that had occurred.

- POWERS -
Moon Maiden can manipulate the Moon's gravitational pull. The effects range from moving items around, to flight, to manipulating tides and earthquakes. She can also induce an effect called 'Lunar Madness' in others, which can manifest as anything from traumatic flashbacks to being driven permanently insane.

- RULES AND GUIDELINES -
Interacting: Canon/OCs/Crossovers are all fine, though I reserve the right to decline stuff I'm not feeling. We don't need to be mutuals or following to interact. Send me an ask or DM, I'd love to plot with you! I don't bite, I promise.
Literacy: will range from casual dash to detailed multi paragraph. I'll match what you're interested in doing.
Content: I am fine with RPs of any rating. As such, there may be content inappropriate or uncomfortable to some. All my trigger warnings as written as "tw [keyword]" so block what you need to. Example: "tw suggestive" for sexual content.
Anons: including magic anons are okay within reason. If I personally find it too zany to work with I just won't respond.
Know your etiquette: No godmodding or meta knowledge. Don't be a creep. Muse is not Mun. I don't owe you my time. Be nice to your RP partners and remember they are people behind the screen.
Match my energy: a one sentence reply is fine for casual conversational dash RPs, but don't do that on a multi para serious starter, I worked hard on that and want a feast, not your writing crumbs!
Triggers: Generally, as long as the topics are treated respectfully, with proper build up and no shock value, I will likely be fine with most content. I will always DM you if I'm uncomfortable with a thread. Please do the same, communication is key!
Example 1: our characters are talking about their childhoods, and over the course of the conversation it shifts into forms of abuse they suffered. Perfectly fine, natural progression.
Example 2: you send me a starter that begins with graphic torture. Hold on now, let's build some suspense first! This starter would make me uncomfortable, even though I'm perfectly fine with writing a torture scene in other contexts.
Active dying/grieving: Writing realistic grief, both my muse's or comforting yours, can be very heavy and triggering for me. Death happens in RP, but if we're doing a whole plot around it and if it resembles IRL (think hospital vs field of battle) you need to DM me. (My muse would likely comfort off camera, so please don't accuse him of "not being there" while you're grieving)

This is a story of being prepared to die, and having it never find you.
This is a story of walking around your own home like a ghost.
