I was abused by my mother up until I was 17. A boyfriend of mine tried to take advantage of me; the only reason he didn't is because I faked nausea and ran to the bathroom to get away. I went through a stage when I was younger where I thought was gay. I wasn't a Christian. I've always just sort of related those feelings to my mother and the boy. But now I've met a girl, who is also a Christian & she's gay... And I think I'm falling for her. I don't want to disappoint God.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)Joseph the dreamer, was highly favored by his father Jacob that his brothers got jealous over him. Their jealousy even came to the point that they plotted to kill him. Though one of his brothers stood up to protect Joseph, Judah and the rest was successful with their ploy to get rid of him by selling him. (read Genesis 37:12-36)He was sold by his brothers to some merchants and the merchants sold him to Potiphar, a rich Egyptian. One day, Potiphar's wife took notice of Joseph because he was well-built and handsome. So he was tempted by Potiphar's wife, but Joseph (being a man of God) refused. In anger, Potiphar's wife plotted against him by saying Joseph took advantage of her, leading Joseph to get imprisoned. (read Genesis 39)Later on, Pharaoh had a dream and he was bothered, but no wise man in the land could interpret it. So he called for Joseph, who was at that time imprisoned, and Joseph granted him the interpretation of his dream. If Joseph wasn't sold by his brothers, he wouldn't get to Potiphar. If Joseph wasn't plotted evil by Potiphar's wife, he wouldn't be imprisoned. And if he wasn't imprisoned he couldn't have interpreted Pharaoh's dream and find favor in his eyes. Joseph was taken out of the prison and the Pharaoh dressed him, put garments on him and granted him the position of governing the land's resources for the coming seven years of famine. (read Genesis 41)We always hear the phrase "bad things happen for a reason" and Joseph's life is the Bible's proof for that. It is written that God knows the plan that He has for us, those are plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. So if you're suffering your own "bad thing" in life right now, believe that God is using that to prosper you not to harm you. Believe and know that like what God did to Joseph, something good will come out of your suffering and pain. Beloved, trust in Him. We may not see or know why for now, but believe that God sees every curve when all we see is a plain and straight road ahead of us. GOD knows what's best for us, and He will always lead us. All we have to do is to be faithful in times of our trials and sufferings, be steadfast in prayers and cling hard to Him. Remember that "God gives life's hardest battles to His strongest people." GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!! :* 💗

Kasi when you think that way, mamiminimize ang pag iisip mo na you’re someone of less worth than others. You have the best identity in Him. Hindi ka na mahihiya, mas lalong hindi mo na iddown ung sarili mo kasi ang mind set mo “Pare pareho naman tayong anak Niya, at wala namang mas sa paningin Niya.” So why think of yourself negatively? Ganyan kasi ang inferiority complex, it hinders you to do many things minsan di mo na makuhang maging masaya kasi iniisip mo sasabihin ng iba, iniisip mo di mo kaya, or minsan iniisip mo di ka magugustuhan ng mga tao sa paligid mo. NO! Please beloved, wag mong idown ang sarili mo GOD CREATED YOU TO DO MANY GREAT THINGS, don’t let it be hindered by that. Just try beloved walang mawawala, enjoy the many pleasures and rewards of it after that leap of faith. 

When you feel so low and when you think of yourself negatively, just remind yourself I AM SO IMPORTANT AND LOVED THAT JESUS HAD TO DIE FOR ME. He won’t let you lose your battle. I’m open for a longer and more detailed conversation with you beloved, OPEN UP and I’m more than willing to help you get through this, sincerely. I have just had my first uni offer back and I got rejected. I feel awful. And have a constant pain in my chest. I'm still waiting for 4 more replies from other uni's but I can't calm myself. I'm absolutely terrified

First of all :D You need not to worry. God is constantly working in your life beloved. He is working His way through His plan of where He wants you to study. Sometimes, rejections come as a form of "My child, this is not my plan for you." This is not where I intend you to have your college degree. In the same way as our earthly parents take us away from what they know would harm us, God is also the same. But in the form these setbacks, and rejections. Believe beloved, that this rejection is one of God's way to lead you to His perfect plan for you.And, put in mind that the world has its own standards. Like, you have to achieve this certain grade to be able to pass a university, or you have to be this tall to be able to go to military school. But those standards should never be an issue for us to lose belief in ourselves. Remember that the world have STANDARDS, but we are God's children. What standard is greater than being able to pass the standard of being His child?You need not to please people. If you're thinking about others whom you've disappointed for not passing that ONE university, including yourself, then you're living the wrong way of life. Because you're living your LIFE for others, not for yourself. For their expectations, not for your happiness or because it's what you want to do. You still have four beloved, I'm sure one of those universities will accept you! They'd be blind if they won't :D God has His perfect plan for you! Just be patient and remain steadfast in your prayers, God hears the prayer of His children, most certainly from those who prays with a sincere heart! :DGod loves you! Just trust in HIM! :D <3- Elle

“If I tell you that this picture has taught me a valuable lesson, would you believe?” :))) Okay, I know that this blog is mostly about typography and other arts and not photographs of things but I just feel like I need to share you this story… “Our family had a short vacation in Baguio City, Philippines lately. And as a person who loves nature, and as someone who was absolutely mesmerized of the amazing view; I decided to just stay outside the balcony of our hotel room and take pictures. I took pictures of trees, cars and people passing by, etc. I took photos of every single subject that amazed me, and it made me feel satisfied. Not long after, I was able to view this ‘electrical post’ from the camera’s lenses. I realized that it can also be a good subject, so I just decided to take a few snapshots of it.  My realization came in moments after I was already browsing the photos I took. I paused in awe, as I realized that the electrical post somehow resembled the ‘CROSS’. Maybe not as asymmetrical, but it looked like the CROSS for me.  I will never be able to keep in numbers how many cars or people have passed by and not notice that post. Well mainly because ONE, when you drive you keep your eyes on the road. Or TWO, when you’re on the passenger’s seat, you are more likely to keep your eyes on the more beautiful things. And THREE, when you’re walking, you keep your eyes on your feet, or just look straight ahead.  It made me realize that sometimes, “God, can be that unnoticed post in our lives.” We become too busy with our errands, our jobs, our dreams, our priorities that we sometimes leave Him unnoticed. We forget to thank Him, we forget to talk to Him. In problems we forget to trust Him. We become too focused in earthly matters that we tend to forget the “One who truly matters”. We become too busy keeping our eyes on ROADS that don’t matter. We become too busy looking for MORE BEAUTIFUL THINGS when all this time “HE’S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL”. We become too busy trusting our own feet and fixing our heads straight ahead, not realizing He has long been by our sides.  This ‘post’, which I took for granted, has taught me a life lesson. “To not keep God unnoticed in our lives”. To not forget that He is the reason why we wake up in the morning, alive and breathing. To not forget that He is the reason why we have a job, why we’ve got a family, why we’ve got a wife, a husband, a lover, or kids. Why things happen in our lives because He has perfectly planned for it. To never forget that once, He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins so that one day we can be with Him in Heaven. To not forget that He’s there, continuously loving us endlessly with a love that no one else can ever offer.“ “Beloved, you may be having an unnoticed post in your life today. Hello beloved :)))))) I smiled at your message almost giggled actually XD I’m sorry if you cannot understand some of the words that I say :))) That was not speaking in tongues, that’s ‘Tagalog’ or ‘Filipino’, our native language here in the Philippines. When my co-filipinos send me ASKS I choose to answer them in Tagalog or ‘Taglish’ (a combination of Tagalog and English words) than fluent English because I deem I can better express myself that way and they can better understand me. :D God bless you even more! Hello. Kakapost lang recently ng result ng board exam. Lahat kami sa barkada nakapasa maliban sa kaniya. Nagulat ako. Kasi alam ko talaga mas matalino sya sa akiin. Hindi ko alam ano sasabihin ko sa kanyaaa. Kasi parang nawawalan na siya ng lakas ng loob kasi nung 3rd year kami naalis siya sa school namin kasi hindi sya umabot sa quota..tapos ngayun bumagsak ulit siya, Ano ba magandang sabihin sa kanya? :(

Awwweeeeee :’( How saaaaad. Ramdam kita. :(Hmmmmmmm. The best thing na pwede mong sabihin sa kanya is 'God has a purpose', 'God has His reasons' and ‘God has a plan’ :D Alam mo, may kaibigan rin ako na hindi nakapasa sa board nila :( apat silang nagtake pero siya lang ang hindi nakapasa. Mabuti nalang sobrang faithful niya kay Lord, ang point of view niya, hindi pa niya panahon. God has a better plan in store for her. Ganun rin sa kaibigan mo. "MAY TAMANG PANAHON PARA SA LAHAT NG BAGAY." Hindi man siya nakapasa ngayon, makakapasa at makakapasa siya in God’s perfect time. And failure does not mean na kailangan mo nang sumuko, FAILURE does not mean DEFEAT. It just happened that God has a different plan for him or for her. Here are comfort bible verses na pwede mo rin ishare at ibigay sa kanya: 

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28) - All things work together for good to those who love Him. Ibig sabihin lahat ng bagay nangyayari para sa ikabubuti natin. Hindi man natin alam ang eksaktong dahilan bakit di siya pumasa, believe that it’s for his/her own good EVERYTHING works together for our own good beloved, he/she just have to believe. May dahilan kung bakit, may purpose. Malay mo gusto ni Lord next year siya pumasa kasi next year mas may greater opportunity sa kanya. We’ll never know the exact reason why but in time she/he’ll realize that it happened for his/her own good.

He knows the plans that He has for all of us. PLANS TO PROSPER US, NOT TO HARM US. Hindi Niya tayo ipapahamak.  Kung iniisip ng kaibigan mo that God has forsaken him/her, nagkakamali siya. Yang nangyari sa kaibigan mong yan ay hindi pagpapahamak ni Lord but is a part of His perfect plan for him/her. Malay mo kung pumasa pala siya ngayon magkatrabaho siya agad, tapos yung trabahong yung ikapapahamak niya pa. God doesn’t want anything bad to happen sa kanya, He doesn’t want to harm us kaya inilayo Niya sa kapahamakan ang friend mo. HINDI NATIN ALAM ANG EKSAKTONG DAHILAN KUNG BAKIT, but believe that God has a reason, God has a plan and that’s for your friend’s good. Plans to give him/her hope and a future. Believe that everything happens according to His plan. Normal ang malungkot, but let us cling to His promises. SIYA NA MISMO ANG NAGSABI, Alam Niya ang plano Niya sa atin and it’s all for our own GOOD.Congratulations sayo beloved! :D <3 And sa other friends mo, I know in this kind of situation mahirap ang magsaya dahil hindi kayong lahat nakapasa. Malulungkot talaga kayo but when you think about God’s plans, and God’s promises na iba iba ang plano niya para sa ating lahat, I know mauuplift kayong lahat :D Just stay strong in faith, ilift niyo yung friend niyo, comfort him/ her and PRAY para sa kanya. The best thing na maiooffer talaga natin ngayon are PRAYERS.
