Okay, the initial impression after seeing the startups pitch here was just Wow! I mean I kind of lived in cocoon where i'm impervious to the happenings in the startup ecosystem in India. Man! People are doing such great stuff and building cool products.
We definitely live in a time where Entrepreneurship is considered so seriously than ever before. No more is it for those only really passionate about something. It has transformed(more like evolved) into an arena where real definitive problems are solved using technology freely available for developers and people interested in solving them. People who want to make a difference in society by carving their names on cool products which make our lives easier.
I have seen startups doing work similar to what we have been building at eSchoolNetwork and talking to them have really kindled my desire to make our product much better than what it is today. Adding real value to customers is what is really required in a country like India and focus should definitely be on root problems than to build fancy add ons which the customer will think of as nice to have and optional.
Education is an evolving space in India with many startups and companies taking the plunge by tagging the word 'Technology' to it. But lets take step back and think "Are we really solving a problem?", "Is there a need for what your are building?". Talking to customers is the only to find out. DO NOT BUILD SOMETHING WHICH NOBODY WANTS TO USE!
Hopefully, the insights got from here will have a good impact on the way we are working at eSchoolNetwork.
In the end everything makes sense! turned 1 today!

Aalright. Now I see you returned from aansite last week. You hadn’t gaan that laang. Khare now, you are making me take sutigi to ivar head. Let me tell you why. I hyav been waiting to tell you this from last week itself.

Morning Ride on my New Bike
Insomnia - Ah! thy evil bitch!
Its 2.11 am as sit with laptop in front of me. No i am not working, i am not watching a movie, nor a serial/sitcom. Suddenly, it flashes to my sleep deprived mind, i have to blog! But wait.... About what?
I am not a writer! i dont get(usually) things in my head which i would want to write, which would make me connect to a sleep deprived soul just as me. But then, there are so many things i have to tell, to people who want to listen. Yeah i know its depressing when people dont want to hear.
Its not about the writing skills or the fluency. Its just the innate human nature to connect, to bond, to share things you find interesting with people who care for the same very things. No! i am not going crazy! The world is i guess! I would kill for people to listen nowadays. There! i said it!
As i now think about it! Its all my fault! Yeah! You know why! I am not one among the crowd. The crowd wants to hear what the crowd wants to hear. Sorry! I am happy this way! I cannot and shall not be the crowd!
The balloon pops up to show low battery on my laptop. Too lazy to plug a cord into my dying system. I guess this is how life is for most non-doers!Well that was way too philosophical i guess. Time to sleep!
Oh wait! or is it? Oh Sleep Thou shall visit my den tonight! Pleaseeeee

Balance - A perfect word for Bangalore weather!
As i start to my office in the morning, a warm sun greets me. It is hard for me to make out the difference between a summer morning to a chilly winter morning or a drizzly monsoon morning. Its all the same in Namma Bengaluru! It may be burning heat in the morning and afternoon but as it gets to the evening, the cool breeze starts and in no time u find urself comfortable in your home sipping coffee as the drizzle starts and gradually pours down and rains like cats and dogs.
All the exhaustion, all the stress is gone once u smell the mud mixed with the rain water. A feeling i guess no other can match to. For me its a great stress buster.
Hope every city in india would get a weather pallete like bengaluru, but then i guess it would be asking for more.
