Pravani didn’t normally find herself at the leaky cauldron but she had stopped in to take a break in her shopping. She was quite tired of the constant running from shop to shop and she thought a quick bite would be a good thing. She deserved a break after all. Keeping up the standards that were set for people in her circle was a full time job after all.
It was a welcome treat to see someone worth speaking to at the leaky cauldron and she was quick to walk up to him. “Well if you aren’t busy you can have lunch with me Evan. It will give us the chance to catch up. You can also tell me if it was really you who stole the peacock from Lucius. He’s determined that you’re the one behind it.” She spoke with a grin as she moved to start looking for a free table.
“Surprisingly, I am not,” He admitted. “Just need to be home in time to put the girls down for their naps.” It was meant to be a quick errand but he seldom took time to himself as it was so the idea of a quick bite to eat was something he could work with.
The shit-eating grin popped up before Evan could contain it, leaving him struggling with trying to rapidly cover it up. He could keep a secret. That much was a given but the ability to contain his more mischievous antics was a struggle since childhood and often got him into more trouble than it was worth. “Borrowed is the phrase I’d use,” He shrugged. “Long enough to leave him suspicious of the usual in-laws and just short enough to not have…” He paused and made a face. “At least, I had thought there were no suspicions on me.”
"Wonderful. How are your little angels? Blaise is pure perfection as always but he's spending time with his father today." She had wanted to keep him with her that day but she couldn't argue with his father about spending time with him. She had errands to run anyway she supposed and that was how she ended up here on her own.
"I support you playing tricks on Lucius always. It's quite funny. His birds are pretty but they can be a bit annoying. One of them was pecking at my dress one night." She slid into the seat at the table and gave her order to the waiter before handing them the menu. "How has work been going? Anything interesting going on?"
