GOOD OMENS s2 spoilers ahead

'The coffee theory, the lie theory, azira was manipulated, was drugged, was lying'..... Nah, azira simply believes in the system. It doesn't make him a bad guy, just a guy that upholds the status quo because he's still living in the angels good demons bad fairytale, even if the random cruelty of the god side using demons to do the dirty work was a major plot point this season. Azira is a midly dissenting angel thats being reabsorved by the system by allowing him to have a taste of power, which in turn allows him to give into the illusion that he can make a difference because now he's in charge and he is good. But you cant destroy the master's house with the master's tools, and it will take one attempt at radical change to get him discarded, just as gabriel was.

idk this seems a more engaging story to me that metatron putting a funny miracle doobie on azira frappuccino
