sO HOW ABOUT MY EXTENDED ABSENCE HUH,

here's the deal: i'm still extremely insecure with my portrayal of ishimaru like. people say very kind things about how i write him and i thank you all for that!! but like it doesn't? connect? somehow? i enjoy writing him but then i feel like i'm just not good at writing him and then i get apathetic

There is a man… A man I respect more than everyone. A man whom I must surpass at all cost. Toranosuke Ishimaru, my grandfather. He was once.. The Prime Minister of Japan. He was the very definition of a genius. A man who could, apparently, effortlessly, accomplish anything. But.. He made a huge mistake. I believe his genius caused him to underestimate the world around him. That’s why I hate "geniuses". But I have learned from my grandfather’s mistakes. I won’t let myself fall into the same trap. And with the unwavering power of hard work I will do things even better than my grandfather. I will turn this world into a place where reward is proportional to effort!
