While Alandra and her son Bento had always loved curling up together on a coach and watching television together, it never occurred to either of them that picking up a new telenovela, especially one which was about the stories from the Book of Genesis of all things, would have such dire consequences for them.
What was just some innocent spooning as they watched the story of Adam and Eve and later Noah's Ark, gradually evolved into a touchier, more intense snuggle when the Tower of Babel episodes started. By the time it was revealed that Queen Semiramis intended to to seduce her own son, Bento's hand was already under his mother's nightgown; feeling her intimately. And when the mother and son inside the television finally committed the forbidden act of incest, Alandra was welcoming her son back inside her, in the same spooning position in which they spent all those nights watching television together.
Naturally, and just like Queen Semiramis, Alandra ended up with her son's baby growing inside her womb. Now every time they cuddled while watching television, Bento's arm would proudly wrap around his mother's baby bump, which would always result in them eventually recreating the very act that was the cause of Alandra's round pregnant belly.
