Still wrapping my head around the fact the phrase "Hold Your Horses" is a play on the word Stable...
To be stable.
obsessed w how none of these are the real origin of the phrase
There's a laundromat right outside Leblanc which answers the question "how does Joker do his laundry?" except there was not a single ironing board in sight, which means Joker was probably wearing wrinkly ass clothes (littered with cat hair) for his entire stay in Tokyo. Meanwhile Akechi probably owns both an ironing board AND a steamer. You won't find a single crease on the detective prince's uniforms. Roommates shuake with a problematic laundry gap relationship
#joker got used to not ironing his clothes because whats the point when everyone hates him#and akechi is always overperforming in that specific area because he had an audience hashtag slay#and akechi refuses to go out with someone with wrinkly clothes so they end up splitting chores#where joker does the laundry and akechi irons
Characterization on point 10/10, but now I'm imagining Akechi wielding the hot iron as a deadly weapon every time Joker misses his laundry duty and when Joker glances at it warily he'd go "haha only kidding☺️... now do the fucking laundry or else"
Persona 5 Joker Fanart
Persona 5 Goro Akechi Fanart
I was overthinking on how I should draw Akechi because of how much possibilities he can have with a mugshot. I hope y’all like this.
Encounter
apparently someone got a real life permanent watergun tattoo on their body based on a scene from a fanfiction where one of the stranger things guys shoots his cum into the other guy's mouth with a watergun while on shrooms And then the fic ended up being ai generated.
Not the biggest problem, but if they do westernize persona 5 then what exactly are they going to name Goro Akechi. His name is a play on a Japanese detective based on Sherlock Holmes, so logically they'd do a play on Sherlock Holmes directly. But Herlock Sholmes and Gregory House are already taken, so what now
one thing that has started taking ppl aback when an artist/writer is exposed for using genAI is the fact that the guilty party sometimes includes "do not feed my work into AI" disclaimers on their pieces
lots of folks (myself included) find that very hypocritical, but i want to explain why the genAI users themselves often don't consider that request hypocritical, and it stems from how they perceive the technology
if they're not slapping that PSA down in an attempt to throw ppl off their scent (and to be clear: some are doing that), it's likely because they think of genAI as an assistive tool that's supporting the execution of their Creative Vision, and this becomes very obvious when you hear them talk about genAI because they tend to liken it to photoshop or spellcheck -- just another resource that helps close the gap between their artistic vision and the product they're able to produce; something that makes the tedious process of creation a bit less labor-intensive
it's not unethical, they claim; it's efficient! it's just a tool!
it's just a tool, it's just a tool, it's just a tool
you see, at their core, they've deluded themselves into believing that having an idea is the same as being an artist/writer; the idea is theirs, and "the tool" just helps them polish their idea up so they can share it with others (and then get rewarded with those sweet, sweet hits of dopamine when strangers on the internet click "like")
lots of them describe this as "using genAI to bring original stories/concepts to life" (barf), and it's also why, without a lick of irony, some of them put "do not feed my work into AI" notes on the things they post
the thought of someone iterating on their idea bothers them; the tech itself does not
personally? i think we should toss all of them to the lobsters
If the live action persona 5 pushes through, brace yourselves for the most whitewashed Japan imaginable (if it even still takes place in Japan and not New York or something). also Hollywood does not yaoibait the way Japan knows how to yaoibait, so you gotta brace yourselves for extremely hetero shuake. thats the real nightmare
The shit post are a ladder to the real post soon trust
Things that work in fiction but not real life
torture getting reliable information out of people
knocking someone out to harmlessly incapacitate them for like an hour
jumping into water from staggering heights and surviving the fall completely intact
calling the police to deescalate a situation
rafting your way off a desert island
correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences
heterosexual cowboy
This post breaching containment has taught me that a lot of people seem to think they can accurately profile complete strangers. For the record, no the fuck you can't.
so much art of phantom thief joker sweeping detective prince civilian akechi off his feet but where's the inverse. where's Prince Charming phantom thief akechi wooing civilian ren or batshit crazy black mask akechi throwing hands to protect civilian ren
pocky game but nothing can be just a simple challenge between these two
Haha looks like that relationship didn’t work out… didn’t work out et al.
