Asher chuckled and nodded, " Oh I could only imagine, and I would if I had another pumpkin." He smiled and moved slightly closer to the dragon. " Its a pleasure to meet you Nik, I am Asher." He observed the dragons body and how the curves of his muscles lined his clothing. " Besides..I don't think a pumpkin would do you justice."

"That looks nothing like me. But I am a majestic creature. I'll let it go though because you're so damn handsome."

"Well in my defense I've only seen dragons in books and art, never up close and personal." The young witch smiled and eyed the dragon, his eyes filled with curiosity. " id love to hear a description of how you look in your true form."

Pumpkin pie

Taking the pumpkin, Asher sat down, cleaning it out and preparing it to be carved. "Hmmm...Oh! I know what I'll do." He intently started carving at the pumpkins surface, and after some time, he turned around holding it out for everyone to see. "Its a dragon. Majestic creatures aren't they?"

"Hmmmm", the witch took a moment to think. "My ideal date would probably under the night sky, somewhere that has minimal lighting, where we can see the night sky in its full glory." He smiled as if he was seeing it happen. "The stars and the moon shining brightly on us as we laugh, talk, and maybe even make a little magic of our own." As he finished a smirk rolled across his face.

“Something that soothes me?” Asher looked around as if he were looking for the thought. “Rain, the sound of it just makes me so relaxed. I could listen to it forever.” He smiled reminiscing about times when he would take a nap or read grimoires while listening to the rain.

Gotrik was used to everyone knowing who he was, but it had been a while since he’d been in residence at the Castle so he supposed it wasn’t too shocking the boy didn’t know. He smiled at the surprise and snorted he wasn’t one much for the history books. His smirk grew at the compliment and shrugged. Then he out right laughed as the boy told him he could try his costume next time with a different interpretation. The comment was vaguely insulting since Gotrik thought it was fairly obvious he’d never put himself on display like the boy was, but he didn’t think that was the boy’s intention. “No pet I’ll leave the making a spectacle of yourself to you boys.” The boy’s interest was flattering and he smiled and patted the boy’s arm. “Not today pet. My stories are to be earned. Besides we have an apple calling your name.” 

Asher was taken aback a little, “spectacle”? “pet”? He still wasn't used to the whole slave thing so hearing himself being called such things took him by surprise. He wasn't wearing this costume because he wanted, all the slave were forced to wear skimpy outfits. He shrugged it off and continued with the current mood, getting upset would most likely cause things to take a turn for the worse. So the witch held back his emotions and continued smiling. “ How exactly can one earn these stories?  I hope they don't require too much.” He felt like he knew what the vampire meant by earning the stories, but he tried not to make assumptions. “ I am actually excited to try the apples, I heard they're very sweet!" He was oblivious to the fact that the apples he would bob for were spiked with magic.

Well, I am fairly new, but I heard there was a Gargoyle here I would love to meet him and see where it goes. I've seen some others in passing, like a hybrid..I think he name is Quentin...not sure. There are others I've seen, a few of the dragons have caught my eye as well. Masters, I don't know, I rather not take a chance with them...never know what kind of master you may encounter. I will just mention those two for now.

"Oh. Um. Thank you?" He had forgotten his eyes were in their natural state. Instead of resuming a more neutral tone. He blinked a few times. "I appreciate that but I must inform you that I am in a version of that same collar. I can not remove yours for the sake of being able to remove my own. I must also lend you my aid if you need it. I am afraid there is no leave this castle unless you have become a vampire."

"The moment Asher heard that he wouldn't be able to leave, unless he became a vampire, they fascination and hope left his body. He shook his head side to side, as if he were trying to say no. " I don't believe you, you work for the vampires right? You're probably just trying to convince me to stay." His denial was deep, fighting the reality of it felt as if he was being stabbed on the chest. "I cant be a slave...I don't belong here." Others had told him the same thing, but he would always try to convince himself that he had a way out.

"Oh wow a viking? I've read about them in a few books before." He fascination showed all over his face, the Vampire taking his arm was trivial once his curiosity was piqued. Asher was a reader, he enjoyed books. When he wasn't studying and strengthening his magic skills, he was reading books filled with fantasy and adventure. " That must be why it looks so fitting on you." He chuckled, " It all depends on how you see things, this is may portrayal, but yours would probably be quite different. I say you try it next time they have an event that involves costumes." Asher started letting his guard down, this master seemed to be a lot nicer than what he had over heard. "Will you tell me stories about your adventures?" He looked at the man, excitement in his eyes.
