Costa Del Sol was a nice change of pace, as far as deliveries went. It was over a year and some odd month ago since they first gave light into this new business of there’s. Given the thought from the barmaid to extend our reach to outer cities beyond just Midgar, Cloud was more than reluctant just to get the chance to take his bike as far as he could take it. Though being the usual sidetracked soldier, there were times when the business had suffered due to the proclaimed fastest delivery scout was late on returning back home which caused newly made orders to be made even later than expected. Given a faint smile, barely stretching his cheeks, Cloud folded his arms loosely. “—Seems like all my days of soldiering is beginning to pay off.” He took a seat across from her. Her look of dismay ridden all over her porcelain hued skin as she posed the inquiry about the mobile issue. A lofty sigh exited pallid folds, veering his eyes away from the table. "…." "I got lost in the sites once I reached Costa Del Sol..rest assured though, the package was delivered."
"Riiiiight...." Feeling almost silly for being so quick to gripe on like a mother would her past curfew child, she sighed; still letting her full upper body weight rest against firmly stout palms that lay against the oak finish. What could she really say to that? Accuse him of running off from his duties like he had before? Mindlessly she shook her ivory visage, lithe digit's pressing loose strands of raven hair behind her ear. "Guess I was just worried, I do that you know? Worry about you." It was almost second nature, between the ex-soldier and the two kids that skittered about the place she had a lot of worrying to do! Tifa's motherly instincts were not easy to cut off, if it was even possible at all. "Lost in the sights, huh? Bet that was interesting. Costa Del Sol...my, oh my it has been quite some time since my last visit." Actually hadn't visited the resort since...well, before the fall of Meteor. Idly she pulled out a half full bottle, poured the amber liquid into a shot glass and slid it Cloud's way, cerise tinctures grazing the form of his firmly set shoulders. "Well, I managed to write down all the orders for delivery that came in during your absence. Though, for now, how 'bout you rest up?"

The bar was far passed it’s closing hour, wee into the early AM’s the floor room was left with all but two stirring in their wake. Concerned, the male counterpart casually placed a hand upon the bartender’s shoulder. His head tilting over to the side, golden locks trail in said direction. "—a gil for yer thoughts?"
The stance of a fighter gives a small jolt as the cool press of lingering flanges dance against her shoulder. Tifa stares in wonder for a mere moment before long lashes flutter downwards at the sight of golden spikes and mako infused blue. Pressing her own palms downwards against the bar counter she was behind and previously cleaning, a heaved sigh rocks her full chest. "When did you get in, Cloud?" After being away for about a week, it was almost foreign to see him within these settings. The delivery sure had taken longer than originally specified. "No call either. As always. How many times do we need to go over this?"
"I’m not a hero and I’m not famous. I can’t keep…… the promise"

"It happens. But— How are you?"
"Well enough, can't complain. But what about yourself? You been takin' care of you in my absence? Better have! Don't wanna hear anything about yucky eating habits or that you've gotten soft on me."
As the nights grow colder, it's as if the distance between us grows more vast as well. Funny how the stars shine the brightest too...as if a guiding light to lead you home.
"High time? I would have said that was awhile ago."
"I suppose that's to be expected. I kinda just dropped of the face of the planet, huh?"
"High time I come out of hiding, huh? Can't hide from the world forever!"

✖; “Plotting the death of many innocent lives; the usual.” Sarcasm never failed him.
"Such things aren't appropriate to joke about--" The barmaids held firm as her sanguine eyes narrowed oh so slightly.
"Evenin'! What's everyone up to?"
A hand shifting to give the back of her head a light scratch, she pursed a lip— blue optics flickering over to study the background of the woman. “—Thought you would.” A set of pale arms resting upon the wooden plank carved into a bench before them.
“If it’s about getting home then I doubt you could help, though if it’s about handing me a drink then I guess you could do so— or I at least hope you can.” A light chuckle was about to arise through the soldier’s throat, tickling it down quickly she shifted her gaze to examine the rest of the people in the bar.
"Your thoughts were correct! Gotta say though, I am not surprised that you know him, yourself. He's quite popular, even though he is so grumpy most of the time." Tifa couldn't hold in the small chuckle that filtered through, flipping her long locks over her shoulder as she tried to stifle what she could. Her arms folded under her ample bosom as she kept her gaze held with the woman before her.
"It couldn't hurt to try, but I am afraid you are probably right." Over the past few years she had been bearing witness to travelers that had seemingly lost their way--it always hurt to know that she couldn't provide much assistance; but she always tried to make it clear that if she could help, she would. "But as for the drink, I think I can definitely manage to get that for you, anything in particular you'd like?" The question rang out into the open air before the monk turned to grab a glass and search for the needed ingredients.
If it haven’t been a more flattering visit from these people, what would? A bright smile crossed her lips, hands clasped on her back, giving them a welcoming wave. For a brief moment, she wondered what exactly motivated them to come here. “Aha! Hey there! I’m Kairi!” Among the crowd, there were some familiar faces she could pick out, one by one. Instead of calling them out, she decided otherwise, just simply thinking. There wasn’t much that could have been done and said at the moment but a general greeting.
A soft groan escaped parted lips, as the raven haired woman lifted her body from the ground. Running her hand against her face, ruby irises finally cracked open to investigate her surroundings. The rush of salt and sea flooded into her sense of smell, before confusion set in quickly. A beach...? But hadn't she just been in Edge not even five minutes ago? It was a curious situation for Tifa, but in her 23 years of life, it wouldn't be the first time she had awoken in a strange place with no idea of how she managed to arrive.
It was something you just had to learn to roll with. Besides, the change of scenery was definitely appreciated. The grey skies of her city could do quite the number on a person's mood.
It was when the young redhead called out that the monk was started out of her thoughts, causing her to jump slightly, and her head to instantly peer over her slim shoulder. "A-Ah? Oh! Nice to meet you, Kairi--I'm Tifa. If it isn't too much trouble, could you tell me where I am? I've seeming gotten myself quite lost."
